Hello members of steemkids community. I hope all of you are doing fine. It is my delight to bring to you people another kid's hairstyle tutorial.

This gorgeous hairstyle is something you can do on your kid at the comfort of your home without spending any dime at the salon. Again not knowing how to braid hair is not a constraint to this hairstyle, because there are no cornrows or braids needed for the hairstyle. It is also a protective hairstyle and convenient for kids, because no hair extension will be touching the kid's body to cause discomfort.

ITEMS USED

  • Combs
  • Brushes
  • Small rubber bands
  • Gel
  • Edge control
  • Kinky hair extension

TUTORIAL
Below are the steps I followed to achieve this gorgeous hairstyle. If you follow the steps, you will get the same result or something similar.

STEP ONE

Starting on the kid's washed and moisturized hair, I made a part going from ear to ear, just a straight line to divide the hair into two unequal parts. At this point I have the front and back sections.

STEP TWO

Moving to back section, I divided that section into three ponytails. To get the first ponytail at the back section, I made a part going from ear to ear in a downward diagonal direction. Then I applied gel to sleek down that part and I brushed the section to blend the gel and then use a band to hold the hair in a ponytail.

STEP THREE

Now making the next part. I'm starting at the edge of that very first part I made and going in an upward diagonal direction, and that very part divided the remaining part of the back section into second and third parts. I applied gel to the sections and put them in ponytails with rubber bands. For the front section, I put the hair in one ponytail and sleek it down with gel.

STEP FOUR

Now to make the buns for each ponytail, I lightly comb the hair out to detangle it. Then I split the hair into two and made a twist, and then twirl the hair around to make buns.

STEP FIVE

Now for the hawk look, I used a kinky hair. I used a rubber band to hold the hair in the middle and then connect it to the natural bun. After that, I used the kinky hair extension to cover the natural hair bun, then use elastic band to secure that, but not too tightly. After doing all of that, I then cut off the excess kinky hair, then push the remaining blunt ends into the bun, just to make sure everything is nice and secured.

I did the same thing to all the buns. It's really a cute and quick hairstyle.
