Hello Steemians @Steemkidss, good evening to you all. Hope today was really nice to us. Once again I am here to talk about How Young Ones Can Control Their Emotions. This is very vital as these days young ones are tensed up and hardly control their feelings. Join me as I discuss the factors that contribute to this high emotions and the things they can do to control their feelings.

As we know, emotions are so strong that they can move one to act and think either negatively or positively. Some young ones feel at times overwhelmed by their emotions to the extent that they cry, get excessively angry. Hear what one such young one says:

"I get mad at my parents and say things I don't mean. I'll stay away from them until I get over it. " - Kate, aged 13.

Now, what contributes to the inability of our young ones not able to take the needed control over their feelings?

One is factor is tgat, they are moving from adolescence to adulthood. At this period of growth, they fight hard with mixed feelings, having two different emotions over one thing.

Another reason is that young ones are inexperienced in life. Thus, they face new conditions and challenges that they have not encounter before. And these tend to raise their emotions very high, that it makes them feel insecure and hard to deal with. Inspire of this challenges, there are several key steps that can assist them to successfully handle their emotions and there are:

-Learn to have absolute control over your what you think.
Do not allow negative thoughts to dominate you, as this will lead you to loss of strength to act when you are required to do so. Effort is needed to achieve this goal. Hence, think of something positive, like something good, serious, virtuous, etc.

When faced with new assignment or task you are not conversant with, do not tell yourself 'I'll never be able do this'. Rather feel competent to do the task because the more equipped you are inside (your thoughts), the less overwhelming the job will be to you. So do not permit your weakness to cause you feel incompetent, blinding you to making improvements when necessary.

Another vital step to controlling your emotions is to make out a modest, workable goals and those ones you cannot reach, accept them like that. Besides, do not compare yourself with others as some of your peers may be better off in some areas in life than you are.

  • Reduce Anger
    How can you achieve this? By applying insight when someone offend you. Ascertain the reason behind his causing you to get angry - is it a delibrate act or is he not aware that you are annoyed. Making room for other people's mistakes can help you control your emotions like anger. But if you are right by being angry, you can discuss with the offender or you allow the anger to go and continue with your normal life.

Choosing friends that have the capability to control their emotions will also assist you to develop that good quality - self control. These associates either old or you, can even give you directions that will help you when under emotional stress.

Other practical steps includes:

  • engaging in physical exercise. Even the word of God recommends it.

"Physical exercise has some value." - 1 Timothy 4:8, Today's English Version

Good routine of physical exercise has a huge impact on your mood. Eat healthy/nutritious food. Also the type of music you listen to as a young one can have either negative or positive impact on your feelings.

According to a study from The Harvard Mental Health Letter said:

"Viewing violence...tends to stir angry and aggressive feelings. ...People watching violent films thought more aggressive thoughts and showed a rise in blood pressure."

Above all, the most effective way to know to control your emotions is to build a strong personal relationship with your Grand Creator. He is ever ready to help you.

Yes ma'am, you did power up in the last 27 days as you said. But for you to be in club5050, it means that your power up must be equal or higher than the normal transfer out of your wallet. You have transfered 2 sbd which is equivalent to 26 steem out of your wallet for the period of 1 month and has powered up only 15 steem. See screenshot below:

Moving from adolescence to adulthood, inexperience, and facing challenges they have not encountered can cause emotional imbalance for young ones. But they can control their emotions if they learn to reduce anger, engage in physical exercise, etc. Thank you for sharing with us.
