Hello dear friends and families of this great community, it is a pleasure For me to participate in today's dynamic which is story writing. I wanted to continue my story but I decided to write something different. The title of the story is:

BRENDA'S MISTAKE

The story start now:

The Joneses were a very principled family, Brenda Jones came from there, she was a very obedient and hardworking girl and did everything her parents told her, but as she grew older her countenance began to change.
She became less obedient and kept bad freinds.

Brenda was skipping around on a Friday Evening after getting a text message from Linda, one of her friends. Her mom heard her loud voice, and came to the living room, "Honey what's the problem" her mum asked "I just got an invite to a party hosted by one of my friends"

Her mum didn't seem so impressed because when she showed her the the invitation card and she frowned "Is there going to be any mature audience there" she said "I mean will there be an experienced adult there" she further explained.

"Mum don't treat me like a child, I am very sure I can take care of myself" 15 year old Brenda blurted out. Her mum smiled slightly and wanted to say something but a call distracted her hoping she had agreed.
Brenda quickly rushed into my room, and brought out a long dress, she took a picture of it and sent it to Linda.

By the time she had finished and left her mum had finished making the call she said "Sorry sweetie, but you can't go, for one thing there is no mature audience, and you are all teenagers besides what time Is it occuring?" She asked "6pm" Brenda replied "Then you can't go". Those words changed Brenda's countenance and she froze speechless. "Bu-But why?" Brenda stammered "It is also so late and you very well know that theives move around here often" she also said that she was also going to visit my aunt who recently put to bed. I agreed but I had already made up my mind.

Her mum travelled the next day, her dad went on a business meeting and her brother was in boarding school. She didn't want to have such a boring Saturday, while chatting, she saw that the dress code for the party was short skimpy dresses. As soon as she tried on a very short gown she felt guilty but brushed that aside.

Soon 6pm arrived, I she put on the dress and headed outside with all eyes on me, I arrived at the venue in 10 minutes time, compared to what other kids wore, Brenda wore a very long gown.

When the party was finished and everyone was still cheerful, a gunshot was heard, followed by quietness and then 3 men walked into the house, Brenda scream instantly as she knew that they were armed robbers. In her locality people are kept hostage when Kidnapped until a ransom is paid.

They gathered them all and took their phones, Brenda's phone rang however, when they picked up the call, she heard a screaming neighbor, who shouted that she had forgotten to switch off the Gas of her house, and I that meant that her house was in flames because the children around where playing with a lighter, Brenda cried loudly knowing she couldn't leave but she was hushed up.

After starving for two days, they heard a big crash, And then a gunshot and then silence, the police opened the door and let them out. She was so ashamed of myself, her mum didn't say a word, she took Brenda to their old house where she saw ashes, she moved in with her aunt.
She had to quit school in order to work.
