A cordial greeting from me to the people of this great community, I am @emmaboy23 as you all know and it's with great delight having to participate in this wonderful contest titled : food challenge contest week 120 || for kids and parents. With much appreciation I would also like to mention @steemkidss for this weekly contest once more.
Have you ever prepared a very delicious dish that your siblings start licking their hands well if you haven't I have and this dish I am about to prepare is one of them. I am here to give a detail steps with pictures to prove on how to prepare an African portage beans. Beans which are a good source of protein and also helps in growth and blood clotting should be regularly eaten to make us grow better and stronger, in this post i will be showing you the way a typical nigerian boy or girl will prepare a portage beans.
HOW TO PREPARE AFRICAN BEANS
First all I needed to get all my ingredients used for the preparation and they include:
1 beans (1 or 2 cups)
2 dry pepper
3 onion
4 Maggi
5 cent leave and
6 palm oil.
step 1
I got my beans, wash it with enough hot water and place it in the fire or oven and allow it to boil very well.
Step 2
After I did that, I then sliced my onion into my desired shape I want and pour it into my boiling beans, cover and allow it to boil for some minutes.
Step 3
I then added my ingredients such as pepper, Maggi and cover it and allow to boil also for some few minutes.
Step 4
I allowed the water to boil very well before adding palm oil into the boiling beans, we add enough palm oil so as to give your beans that reddish and tasty colour that attract people when they see it.
step 5
This is the last stage where I got my cent leave, cut it and then i poured it into the beans and covered the pot and allowed it to boil for two minutes and bring down from the fire. Your portage beans is ready to be eaten.
