"I love to take photos: The Buildings"
There are certain buildings that on seeing them, your mind flash back to its developer/builder. They are beautiful and purposeful buildings in my state of which millions was spent in getting this done.
Aside these expensive buildings used for business, conferencing, production and the likes of them, there are residential homes whose structures are extravagant and perfect. I'll start with describing prestigious buildings by government, business firms and companion.
This building is located in the Central Business District of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State, Groove Street, Nigeria. It has a land area of 48,200 square meters and a total build area of approximately 18,639 square meters.
It was one of the major plans of the state for its betterment. This project started some years back, 5 years back to be precise. It's a prestigious 21 Story office building of which its glass walls alone costs millions of naira.
Construction on the development project commenced in the year 2017 and was completed in December, 2020. It is a project developed by the state's government, which the construction company, VKS Construction Limited was appointed as contractors. It's much more taller than the next building I'll show you guys.
It's currently the tallest building in the south-south region of Nigeria. Banks, cafe, restaurants and the likes were designed to be on the ground floor while the 2nd floor to the last floor were designed to serve as offices for world-class corporate organizations and international oil companies .
The building has external and internal features such as access control systems of which verification is secured, technical rooms, boom barrier for cars, 500 parking bays and lot more. It has four elevators too.
This is a building whose developer and structurer is great. The structure, texture and everything about it is just so unique. Many call it a Rough Diamond in the rain forest situated between Uyo and Ikot Ekpene by Sheraton, a Marriott Hotel brand in Akwa Ibom state.
It's one of the best hotels in Akwa Ibom state which has over 146 rooms, free Wifi connection and parking bays. It was projected by the state government yet to be commissioned. It has accomodations with an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, bars and a terrace. It also has activities like
- Sauna
- Fitness center
- Beach chairs/Loungers
- Steam room
- Fitness
This is one extravagant hotel in Eket where even whites go to lodge.. It has a bar setting, swimming pool grounds and approximately up to 60 rooms. I've gone there twice. The place is damn amazing and attractive although things are expensive there.
I saw this structure and was thrilled. I had to take pictures of it because my eyes couldn't get off it. I stood pale, wondering how many millions was spent in raising such a building. Everything about it is so fine. The color of the walls is just so perfect. Looking forward to having my own structure in future.
