The diary game: A witness to biology practical (5/7/2024)

INTRODUCTION

Hello members of Steem kids and parents, it's good to be amongst you again tho not in person. I just want to share how my day went. My day is mostly spent in school as a teacher that I am, and tho people think a teacher knows it all but as a teacher, I learn everyday just like my students.

MORNING ACTIVITIES

My day begins at exactly 5:30am when I wake up to prepare for work. So as usual, I finished early and left for work before 7am still arriving before 7am. Since the Junior secondary three students had begun their exams, I was appointed to take them to write in another school. The subject for that day was English and Ibibio, so after doing a little revision for them, we left for the centre for exams.

On arriving there, it took a very long time before the examiner arrived. The exams which was supposed to start by 9am started by 11am, but finally the two papers were done with. We later went back to the school.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES

In the afternoon when I came back with the students to the school, I saw my colleague teaching the SS1 students biology with 'fruits' bring the topic, so I got interested and decided to listen because no one is too big to learn. I was interested when I saw him with some fruits and it was an interesting class. I learnt that different fruits comes with different arrangements of seeds and the different names for the arrangements of seeds in fruits. I also learnt about the epicarp and mesocarp in fruits.

I finally left school by 4pm and got home in few minutes, refreshed and relaxed.

NIGHT ACTIVITIES

At night, I prepared dinner which was rice with vegetables, ate it to my satisfaction, then rested by watching a Korean movie titled 'marry my husband ', then later slept at about 9pm after having a satisfactory day.
