"A meetup with fellow steemians"
A picture after the meeting
Hello guys, I am always very happy to show my participation in most contests that are lively as this very one. I appreciate this community for their effort to see the ball keep rolling to the curt as we all steem on together, a special thanks to the contest organizer @simonnwigwe for such an educative contest topic which I am glad to participate so keep reading down friends, and I know you will find it interesting reading from my blog.
What is the main aim of the meetup you had?
The aim of every meet-up, be it online or offline are fixed on the same goal. Steemians meet once in a while to check on each other's faces and to know how we are fairing. The national meetup was scheduled to hold on Saturday at exactly 4 pm, but I was not able to meet up because of how bad my network has been in the whole community. We had a state meetup which was an offline meeting within Nasarawa steemians and the joy is, the meeting ended well and a lot has been discussed which will surely admonish most steemians. Some of the aims for the meetup are:
To know the strength and weaknesses of each other
To discuss things that would better our steemit journey
Lectures or advice from elders/mentors
To see each other's faces again and smile
To know the reasons for some users' inactivity on the platform.
Special encouragement for the newbies
Maybe some announcement from the country representatives or mentors.
Are there questions that you were not able to answer? Please share with us.
We Nasarawa state steemians are so blessed and fortunate to have two mentors amidst us @simonwigwe and @josepha, during the meeting, a lot of questions were asked by the newbies for clarity because a lot of steemians in Nasarawa state are just knowing about the platform, the two mentors are tying their possible best to see the seriousness of the newbies in the platform. Furthermore, to answer the above question, there was never a question asked that was not answered by them, they answered all questions to the point of everyone's conviction.
Do you think the meetup will make a significant impact on the life of all those present?
Of course yes! Meetup brings many heads together for both learning and teaching each other. One of the main aims of every meetup is to add impact on the life of individuals in that particular organization and as for myself, I have learned a lot from the lectures, encouragement, and questions and answers raised by steemians. So, after the meetup was held, there was a great impact on the life of the steemians who were present at the meetup.
Give a summary of all that was discussed in the meetup
In summary, both steemians were around and the meetup was not specific for a particular set of people which means that the discussion was broad. The mentors encouraged both the new and old steemians to keep on the good works on the platform, get out good content, be creative, and be free from plagiarism. He further said, a lot of steemians plagiarise and get muted which would sound very bad.
Furthermore, he focussed on saying that, trying our best to use good markdown, have our work justified and well-presented to be chiosed among the top best picks for the day. He spoke also on the phrase "vote not guaranteed" he said that the the steemit platform is always about patience and a patient dog would always eat the fattest bone therefore, we must keep pushing on.
Thank you very much for reading through my list as I want to specially invite the followingparticipatearticioate in this contest.@nahela, @okere-blessing, @yakspeace, @bossj23

O yes, there was no questions that the Moderators could not answer and I equally learnt and understand so many things about the platform as a newbie. Thank you for sharing your meetup deliberation with us with a good write up. Best luck friend.
