The family serves the role of socialization as they are the first agent of socialization too. You learn how to make friends and accomodate flaws of foes.

Place of Safety and Security:
The family is crucial and important as it is a place of refuge and protection too. When you are abused and rejected by people it remains the family that takes you in showing you emotional aids at such times too. Therefore it's a place of safety and security.

A Home Of Values:
The family is a home for values, as you get intrinsic values and special moral conducts from home either actively through obedience or passively by learning from actions of parents. That's why it's said

Dream Builders:
The family is basically the home where vision and dreams are birthed and nursed before they become great projects we see today. Every dream was once shared in a family before it became a great one. The family can never be underestimated.

The family is a primary School of moral conducts and pratical application. It houses various intrinsic and extrinsic values needed to harness a growing child thus, creating an enabling environment for growth and stability and otherwise.
