Contest:The virtue of Obedience

Hello, and welcome to my blog for today. I am so happy to be back here with you guys in this great community. I know it's been a while, and that's why I decided to join in this writing contest, as the case may be. Obedience is one thing that we all should strive hard to achieve in life. When you are obedient to the people around you, you will not only receive gifts from them, but they will also help spread your name to places that you never dreamed of going.

My understanding of the term "obedience"

There are different stages of obedience in life. There is obedience for the humans here in our world and also obedience for the Lord, our creator.
But I will conclude all by saying that obedience is the willingness, compliance, and commitment to another that was given to us either by humans or by God. I have seen so many situations where kids just like me will disobey their parents because they asked them to do one chore or another. The Bible helped us know that if you disobey your parents here on earth, this means that you have also disobeyed your heavenly father.

Advantages of Being Obedient

1. Being obedient makes one earn good names everywhere he or she goes. If you are obedient, you will always be loved by the people around you, even if you are wrong.

2. Being obedient attracts good people to come your way all the time, and those around you will always instruct you on which good people to let into your life.

3. Being obedient attracts good gifts that will come your way from those you have been obedient to. When you always run errands for your family members and those around you, they will love you and do whatever you need from them.

4. When you are obedient, God will always bless you and make your days on earth longer.

In the journey of life, who should obey and why?

No matter how old or powerful you might be, everyone deserves respect and obedience. This means that everyone should respect each and everyone around them, no matter how little they might be or how small they are.

The reason why I said that everyone should obey is that no body is much bigger in the eyes of the almighty; it is what you do to others, and that is what they will also do to you. When you obey the little ones around you, I am sure that they will do everything they have to do just to make sure that they obey and abide by your rules.

Obedience is not something one particular group or age of people should only do; it is only if you do things that you should be obeyed that's the only time people will obey you. But if you do things in such a way that people get mad at you and don't know how to say it out, everything or any order you give can never be obeyed by the people around you.

In conclusion, I will say that nobody is too old to obey; everyone on this earth is meant to obey those who are older or more powerful than them, and at the same time, those who you think are more powerful than you also have some set of people that they also obey.

Do you think it is proper to be obedient all the time?

I think we should be obedient only if we are told to do the right thing in life, because someone cannot come to you and ask you to do something bad, and if, in the name of being obedient, you decide to do such a thing, in that process or condition, I think you should ignore the person and walk away from them.

Also, there are times we need to be disobedient to even our parents, and those times are when it comes to your love for someone; truly, love is blind, and I don't think anyone can do anything to get that out of our heads. You might have good feelings for someone, but eventually your parents will refuse, and if you don't get in touch with that person, you will not live a good life.

All you have to do is disobey your parents for that time and move on with your life, because all you need in life is peace of mind and nothing apart from that. Because all you need in
Another reason why you should be disobedient sometimes is because there are times when your family might be having problems with another family.

You know how parents are; they will always tell you not to greet or otherwise interact with others. As someone who knows something, all you have to do is neglect your parents, and anywhere you see those other families, be cheerful to them, not letting them know that you are supporting the problems they are having with your parents, unless they fight back personally.

I think you should only be disobedient to those who live here with you on earth and not to the Lord, your creator.We are all humans and can make mistakes at any time; even your parents can make mistakes and ask you to do things that will ultimately bring you sorrow.

I can prove that when it comes to marriage, many parents will always like to choose for their children the woman or man they think is right for them, without even caring about their feelings or love for the person. If, as a man or human, you know what's best for yourself, all you have to do is neglect them and do whatever you think is right, because most times we should do things the way our hearts instruct us to do them.

Have you disobeyed someone before, and how do you feel about it

Yes, we are humans and can disobey any order or rule at any time. I have disobeyed an order or rule at some point or someone in my life; truly, I felt really bad, but I know that what I am doing is right, and that's why it didn't really affect me so much in life.
