Hello everyone welcome back to my blog. I always enjoy participating in crafts contest, and I will be constructing another paper craft today.

What is the name of what you have made.

What I made is called paper basket constructed using white and pink cardboard paper.

Steps on how you made the craft

Material:
Cardboard paper cut into round shape,
Gum, Scissors.

Step 1
Draw a circle on the pink cardboard paper and use scissors to cut it out

Step 2
Cut out six pieces of the pink cardboard paper and use gum to place it on the round circle paper as shown below

Step 3
Straighten the cardboard paper

Step 4
Cut the white paper and make a round circle of it. Then, weave the pink paper in an opposite direction.

Step 5
After, gum the edges that comes out after the placing.

Step 6
Make the basket hand by cutting a rectangle shape with the white paper then use gum to place it at both sides of the basket.

Step 7
I beautified the basket by making a flower using both papers. To do that; I cut the paper in a square, fold into equal halfs thrice

Step 8
After, cut out the remaining part and unfold the paper

Step 9

Gum the paper flowers round the basket hand and finally stand the basket

How did you get the idea

I always like paper crafts, so I had to surf youtube then I saw a video on paper basket and I decided to construct one.

How useful is what you have made?

The paper craft I made is useful to kids because it helps them to develop basket-weaving skills with different colors of paper and if taken to real life they can equally weave real basket using various kinds of tree bark like raffia from palm fronds.

Which kid did you inspire or do you intend to inspire and help develop the creativity?

I inspired my neighbor's kids. She was with me while I was making the paper basket and after the construction I gave it to her to keep.
