Before i proceed with the given suggested "contest tips", i will like to brief you a little on the concept " child abuse".

CHILD ABUSE:

---

Child Abuse can be described as any form of action or failure to act which results in possible harm for a child. Child abuse is totally and abruptly illegal and unacceptable in any society and should in case any one sees such occurring, do not hesitate to report as it is ordained by the law to turn in to them when you see it happening.

FORMS OF CHILD ABUSE THAT ARE PREVALENT IN YOUR LOCALITY

There are different forms of child abuse prevalent in my locality which include;

1.) MALTREATMENT & NEGLECT:

This form of child abuse appears to be that a particular parent, guardian fails to supply for that child's basic needs. And it can be in form of physical, emotional, educational etc, neglect.

2.) SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME:

This particular form of child abuse is so pathetic and traumatic. This happens when babies or little kids who suffer injuries or death from too many/ vigorous shaking and pulling. This act is known to be a physical abuse which affects the neck, head etc. Am a witness to this particular form.

3.) CHILD TRAFFICKING:

---

This form is a commercial sexual exploitation of a child under 18years of age, who involves or offers to involve in sexual conduct in exchange for money, food, materialism , care, education etc. They are either forced to get involved with it or they do it willingly all because of lack of financial stability.

4.) SEXUAL ABUSE:

---

Sexual Abuse is very alarming. This occurs when another child or adult asks a child for sexual intercourse, which is done or performed forcefully and may result to a traumatic situation. Taking nude photos of the child or exposing them to pornography is also a part of sexual abuse. The abuser therefore takes total advantage of the child's lack of knowledge to sex education. This abominable act is mostly done by a known person.

5.) PHYSICAL ABUSE:

This form of abuse happens when pain is deliberately inflicted on a child, which sometimes might not leave visible marks on a child's abuse. There are signs of physical abuse which clearly indicates that such a child is left with wound, bruises, fracture,etc.

6.) EMOTIONAL ABUSE:

A Child who undergoes domestic violence or lives with a sexual mal treater in their homes is actually under the commotion of emotional abuse. A child who suffers from this kind of abuse suffers from depression and may seek for affection desperately from all angle.

WHO IS AT RISK THE MOST, THE MALE OR FEMALE CHILD?

In any environment where child abuse is prevalent, it is the female child who is mostly affected, because they are fragile in nature.

WHAT EFFECT CAN THEY HAVE ON THE KIDS?

Here are some effects child abuse have on kids?
1.) Flashbacks.
2.) Nightmares.
3.) Sadness.
4.) Low self esteem.
5.) Lack of socialization.
6.) Trust Issues.
7.) Shame.
8.) Depression.
9.) Mood swings.
10.) Fear of letting out the truth.

HOW CAN THE KIDS AVOID THEM?

Child abuse can be avoided by the following:
1.) NUTURE YOUR CHILD:
Let your kids know they are loved, special and reliable of following what their dreams are. Make them understand the love you have for them.

2.) A BABY'S CRY:
It could be disturbing and frustrating to hear your baby cry. At that point in time, learn to do a responsible thing by making the baby stop crying and if the baby continues to cry, please "DO NOT SHAKE THE BABY" it could cause death or too many injury.

3.) REPORT ANY SUSPECTED ABUSE:
Any suspiciousness could be real, so therefore if you have reason to believe a child has be harmed, turn in to any of the local police department.

4.) BE A HELPING FRIEND, NEIGHBOR OR RELATIVE:
It is not always easy being a parent. As a relative or friend or neigghbor, try to help take care of the kids, so that the parents can have time together.

5.) KEEP EYE ON WHAT YOUR KIDS WATCH (Tv, Internet, Video):
It is truly important to be watchful on what kids watch. Because too much watching of violent films, Tv programs etc can equally harm young kids.

It is necessary to note that child abuse is becoming seriously alarming and needs urgent attention. Taking note of how to prevent it could reduce the occurrence of it.
