Hello dear friend, your dreams of either becoming a petroleum engineer or a teacher are all good and noble professions which alot of people will love to achieve in future. Your parents where behind your dreams in supporting you which is quite good. At the end, though you didn't achieved none of your childhood dreams, atleast I'm happy you where still able to achieve your dreams of becoming an engineer which you had to switch from petroleum engineering to mining engineering which is still good.
