Greetings fellow Steemians! How are you today? I hope you are all fine as I am. I appreciate the #steemkidss for organising and sustaining this contest. Today I have constructed a bag using a waste carton and below are the steps and materials used for the construction. Thank you all.

Materials for construction

• Carton
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Paper cutter
• Evostik gum
• Red wool

Step 1
I draw the front view of the bag on a carton. The opening of the bag is straight and measures 20cm and the bottom of the bag is circular. After the drawing of the front view on a carton, I cut it out using scissors and a paper cutter.

Step 2
I duplicated the front view so that one will be the front and the other will be the back

Step 3
Here I measured and cut a carton of length 54cm and 4cm wide. I then trimmed both ends of the carton as shown in the figure below

Step 4
I put Evostik gum on the 54cm by 4cm carton measured in step three above and used it to gum the front and back of the bag

Step 5
At this step, I measured the cover of the bag, cut it out using scissors and have it gummed on the bag using Evostik gum.

Step 6
At this step, I fixed the hand of the bag. I measure a piece of a carton of length 24cm long and 1cm wide. I cut it out with scissors and peeled one side of the carton to have it fold easily. I then gummed it on the bag using Evostik gum.

Step 7
At this step, I used a red wool to hold the Cover of the bag.
