"New DIY contest week28 begins// DIY//LETS SEE WHAT YOU CAN CREATE /

Hi friends, how are you I suppose you are as good today as I am. I am @caringmanasseh your friend with a piece of drawing. I appreciate @mesola and the Steem kids & parent community for organising this contest. I especially draw this cartoon Tom and Jerry for kids in the community. I hope they will appreciate it. Let's begin the drawing.

Materials Used in the Drawing

• plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Colours
• Sharpener
• Eraser

Step 1

I began my drawing with the head of Tom. I draw its cheeks and its two big ears. I also draw the nose, the mouth wide openeth, its eyes and its tongue.

Step 2

Here, I draw its two hands. One of the hands is lifted and the other hand is used by Tom to support itself on the waist. I also draw its big stomach.

Step 3

I draw all the remaining parts of Tom's body. I draw its waist, buttocks and its two legs.

I draw Jerry very tiny in Tom's hand. I draw Tom beginning from the head, ears, eye, and nose. Its hands, body and legs.

I started colouring at this stage. I use my 2B pencil to colour the entire body of Tom leaving only its palms and his lower legs. I use an HB pencil to colour part of its stomach. I colour its mouth black with a 6B pencil and its tongue is coloured red. I used pink colour to colour part of its ear and the eyes were coloured yellow, green and black.

I coloured Jerry in this step. I used orange colour to do that. The yellow colour was used to colour part of Jerry's stomach and its mouth while pink is used in its ear and the eyelid is coloured black while other parts of the eye are white. I also draw the long hairs on both Tom and Jerry's nose.
