The Diary Game || 6-11-23 || Completing practicals in the lab, meeting and promoting Steemit

Dear Diary
It was another day, a Monday morning, a start of a new day. A lot passed through me that Monday starting with practicals, signing of forms, Promoting Steemit, mentoring of my students on steemit, attending a meeting and then reading academic materials. I felt stressed especially during mentoring students on how to sign up, login to their steemit account and teaching others how to post. I felt my time was just wasted but it wasn't. I achieved all that I planned to do that day although I didn't do it accordingly. Journey with me as I give you a breakdown of how my day went.

Morning Activities

I woke up as early as possible as it was a Monday morning and I had a practical class to attend that morning. The weather looked pale and unpredictable. I took a quick look at some academic material as reading the in the morning is a good time for understanding certain things. After glancing through the material, I went online and then motivated my contacts with words for the day. It was about anger. There are some who on a Monday morning due to lateness and other factors may end up in a word fight with another. I did some yoga exercises before doing my house chores that morning.

After house chores, I took to considering the scriptures with my family as a way of enhancing our spiritual health and making us equipped for the day. The scriptures read emphasized on how our creator uses life experiences to warn us about pride and greed which Is one of Satan's designs to make us go astray the way he made our first parents. It also emphasized being content with what we have and not having improper pride which may weaken our spiritual health. Those scriptures were a good motivation to start the week.

After considering the scriptures with my family, I took to preparing for school with my lab coat Inside my bag. On getting to school that early, I saw lots of students rushing in on the campus to board a vehicle. Since I was early enough, I had to trek as there was still time.

Commencement of practical

I've always feared this building where all scientific experiments are done. This is where our laboratory is situated, quite big. The practical started in earnest and we were told to complete what we did last week. We stopped at bringing out the crystallized form of aspirin and then allowing it to dry. We were given some reagents to treat the aspirin as shown in the pictures below.

• Test tubes
• Filter paper and Funnel

We followed the practical manual and did the treatment as instructed in terms of ml and temperature given as we heated the aspirin with a reagent in warm water. This practical was carried out in groups so this were my group members. For the first time that we left the lab early compared to other days. I was so excited though stressed.

After the practical

After the practical, I left with my friends to take some photos but unfortunately, we couldn't as there was just a shuttle left going to the other campus, so we rushed down so it won't be filled up leaving us stranded.

My friends and I entered the shuttle bus which headed to the main campus. My intent was to go and sign my course forms as Monday tend to be the only free day for me. This picture shows me inside the shuttle, covering some shots.

Signing my forms

Signing of forms hasn't been an easy thing as a student of that institution. I've been looking for the examination officer and finally saw her. I signed my forms there first because she's always busy to the point that she can leave at any moment. On getting there, she told me to give her 15 minutes as she was busy doing something. I had to sit beside the door and wait until she finally signed. I then went to the HOD office to sign. She told me I should come some other time of which I started pleading. She then accepted and that was how I was done. See how frustrated I was. I then left for home but took some pictures before going. This picture displays some sculptures on the campus.

Attending a meeting

On returning home, it was already late so i didn't waste a second to report myself in the hall where the meeting would be held. On getting there, I no doubt received divine education that night which strengthened and enhanced my spiritual growth. The meeting came to a halt and we returned to our different homes.

I took to promoting Steemit after the meeting and then mentored those who I promised to host a class by a specified time. I wasn't easy especially those on Facebook. Messages kept trooping making it difficult for me to focus. I was so disorganized in such a way that I had a content to create and I had en engagement challenge to write and other things. I end up finishing everything late and then had my dinner by 12Am in the morning. Quite unplanned. I didn't just want the day to end like that as I had book to read. So I took to ensuring I read for at least 30 minutes before going to bed. That was how my day ended though.
