5 Hours Spent on Leisure — [Exercise and Visiting]

It was a Wednesday morning. The night was a nightmare because I could barely sleep. I was just busy checking trades and analysing coins I would trade the next day. It was at the peak of 5 am that nature placed its call, and I couldn't resist that urge. It was as if I were drunk. Luck was on my side as I could wake by 7 am. I then prepared to go for a workout, as it's been months since I went to exercise my limbs.

I did all that was necessary to, in preparation for that morning activity. I felt some fatigue while jogging to the place to show that I really needed this exercise. On arriving, our coach @kidi40 gave me a couple of warm-up programmes to energise my body, making it fit to carry out the day's programmes. These warm-up programmes included

  • jumping jacks

  • sidekicks, etc.

I felt extremely weak and tired resulting from the difficulty the warm-up programmes gave. I didn't even do two programmes; my heart was already beating fast as if I had run for miles. We were done with the warm-ups in no time and moved to the next programme, which was first deadlift. This deadlift was done by bending to the ground with your knees protruding forward while your waist protrudes backwards, and then you lift the barbell from the ground to your thigh without bending your hands or arms.

It wasn't that difficult, as I've been used to it from the Fitness Steemit challenges held last season. So I became used to doing it. The second programme was Lunges. This lunge was with dumbbells. One had to be in constant motion, taking one of his knees close to the ground and then moving the next in the same parallel motion. By 8:15Am, the workout programmes came to an end**. So I did exercise for an hour.

We then switched to football playing which is also a fun exercise. We were of good numbers, enough to play a mini field. Steemians that were part of this gameplay are;
@peacefulpeace
@alli001
@kidi40
@ngoenyi
@benton3
@chichigirl
@fortwis09
@wizzyboy3

We had 8 Steemians in the field plus me as their 9th player. Other members of the fitness club joined in playing the game. We grouped ourselves into teams of 8, as we were 16 in total. I had 4 Steemians in my team, while the other team had the same number of Steemians. The gameplay didn't seem serious at the initial stage until the other team started putting pressure to score.

Team Kidi | Team Alli001

--|----

I was in team Alli001 and was more on the backend than the frontend because I'm not a player. I don't even have interest in such a game. It's only enjoyable when I watch people play. Due to the fact that I was forced to make the team complete as we had an event number, I decided to play to the best of my ability.

It's quite weird to know that someone who has little or no game tactics or strategy initially became the man of the match. I was just good at defending, but I did more running than playing 🤣🤣. It was as if I was fighting to save the ball from harm. The gameplay ended in a draw, 1:1. We were the equalisers of the match as Team Kidi scored first.Close to the end of the match, we equalised, and that was done when I acted as an assist after retrieving the ball from my opponent.

I passed the ball to @alli001, who, with his tactics, dribbled 5 people and still scored. The chances were slim, but it was a good strategy there. After the match, we took a few pictures as a group. After the picture taking, I left for a Steemian house with @alli001. He hosted us with Beans and Garri. Afterwards, we had a long conversation on relationship matters. It was the best leisure I had because the network didn't allow me to go online. I just had to allow my phone to rest for 2 good hours.

5 Hours Spent

14 Hours on Mentorship Programmes — Physically and Virtually

On leaving the Steemian's house, I left for another Steemian shop to educate them, as they are newbies. **We spent quite some time together, learning how to navigate the platform and create quality content. These two Steemians, @ay-mart and @pat-enterprise, are a couple and are my students. They are business partners and aim at creating business content together. While educating @pat-enterprise on how to be a successful newbie content creator, her husband developed interest in joining the platform when he heard digital skills are learnt for free.

He decided to take the bold step with his wife. He created an account, which I guided him on. One of his friends, as shown in the picture, was keenly interested in joining as well. He followed us anywhere we went to gather information, even when his own friend tried to resist him. He made my day with his comedic lines. Like, he cracked me up, to be honest. I was just laughing throughout the teaching process.

We entertained ourselves with the shelled groundnuts sold on the street. At around 6pm, I left for my house as dark clouds were covering the sky. I was done with the physical aspect of mentorship, moving to virtual mentorship on a WhatsApp group created to teach Nigerians that are both newbies and old users on the platform.

I introduced what would be taught in the course of our 1 month class and how I intend to help old users and new users become successful writers. One common aspect of content writing many have ignored is Grammar. A lot of Steemians including myself have overlooked grammatical errors in our contents because fail to proofread before posting or we don't know exactly where punctuations should be placed.

So I decided to take everyone on the use of a Grammar Checker to correct our Grammar. The screenshots explains everything. I started this tutorial by 7pm-2Am. After educating the group and giving assignments, I decided to go on private tutorials till 2Am. I then slept till 7Am the next day.
