Vaccinations, their importance and their schedules || Monday diaries || Daily dynamics with @binwaqas
Vaccinations help us stay healthy, as they save us from getting sick from the diseases that are very commonly spreading. In the past there were times when kids used to die before even reaching 5 years of age because of the absense of vaccinations. Vaccination work by triggering our body's natural immune system by injecting a small amount of the germ/disease. This way our body start a defence mechanism and fight those germs. This way when the kid actually get in contact with that disease they are saved by the anti-bodies already present in their body. Different vaccinations are given to kids depending upon the kids' age, the geography or kid and such factors.
The most common vaccines given to kids are for the following diseases
- Polio
- Pneumonia
- meningitis
- hepatitis A and hepatitis B
Different vaccines have different methods of giving, some vaccines are given in the form of doses. Like a kid need to have multiple doses for that vaccine. While some of the vaccines are only 1 time. There are proper schedules for the vaccines and when those schedules are not followed the kid could get sick and it could result in some serious consequences.
To protect ones self from such daunting illnesses is by getting the vaccines on schedule, take care of general health, eat healthy and proper diet with all the nutrients in them. Wash hands regularly and most importantly before a meal. Cover you nose and mouth while coughing and sneezing, do not share needles, razors and other personal stuff with anyone. When sick try to be distant from others so the illness may not spread to the area.
Finally, vaccines are an important part of keeping babies healthy. Parents can assist to prevent their children from dangerous infections by following the prescribed vaccination schedule and supporting excellent hygiene practices.
Feliz semana.
