Weekly Drawing contest//Week#28 Begin: Draw A Boxfish

Hello steemain, how are you doing today? Hope you all are doing well. As for me I am doing well too. Am so much delighted in this week #28 drawing contest organized by our amiable moderator @eliany to show our ability in drawing with the topic "Draw A Boxfish". This drawing contest is a big challenge to me, but I thank God and this community because am really improving. Let look at the steps I use in drawing the boxfish.

Material:
A4 paper
Pencil with Eraser
Black skin marker

Step 1

First thing was, I draw a fish shape, the tail,and the mouth.

Step 2

I then include the fish fins, and the eye of the fish

I make a scanty zero on the body of the fish.

Finally, i enclose the fish eye, make a curve line on the front fin, I use skin marker and paint the fish for proper seeing.

Describe A Boxfish

Boxfish, also called truck fish is a shallow-water marine fish . Boxfish comes in different colors, but the one we are concern is the yellow one. They have deadly neurotoxin in their skin, they can release when threatened by a predator.
Boxfish is from the family of Ostracidae.
Boxfish die from it own poison. They are poor swimmers because of their tough inflexible exterior in their body, hence their movement is as hovering.

Where Do They Live?

Boxfish lives in reefs of Pacific ocean, underwater rocks crevices, Southeastern Alatantic ocean and India ocean.

Is It Easily Seen?

Boxfish is not easily seen that why we not see it in the market as other fishes. Though is also a marine fish but it scares to see it, but you can see it in the television, aquarium and internet.

Have You Seen One Before? If Yes, Where?

Honestly I have not seen boxfish physically before with my eyes. But I saw them on television and You-Tube. hoping to see one some day.

Are They Important To Man, What Significant Role Do They Play In Human Life? Talk About Their Nutritional Values And Usefulness

Yes, boxfish is important to man. Though it is poisonous when you eat it, but yet it contain protein as other fish. Is important to aquarium setup people, student that are dealing with marine fishes and zoo's.

If They Are Dangerous To Man Tell Us Their Dangerous Part

Their dangerous part is the ichthyotoxic, tetrodotoxic chemical-like content in it when eaten. Boxfish can burst red blood cells when they release a cloud of pain from the body. Human Don't normally eat it due to the injury the boxfish cause to the body.

Some Country Eat It, So Have You Eating It Before, What Your Favorite Recipe Is It Dry, Fry Or Barbeque?

Yes, some parts of the country eat boxfish because it not all boxfish that are not edible, some are edible. But I have not eaten before and I would have love to taste the barbeque boxfish with some fry unripe plantain, chill exotic drink and cool music.
