Update #10: Writing Expedition ✍️, Thursday- The Story Of Ekpono The Banker

Hello everyone, am glad this writing expedition is moving smoothly week by week. I really appreciate the effort of steem kids and parents community for every day writing. Today been Thursday, I will share with you the story of a banker who neglected her home to work.

Ekpono was a very delegated and hard working lady who takes both her home and her work very serious. Ekpono was a very beautiful woman love by all. She was married to Mr Okpoi. Okpoi was also a hard working man who deals on electrical work.

Mr Okpoi love and respect his wife for the support and effort to combine her work and family duty despite the fact that she leaves the house in the morning and come back home late. They leave in peace, share things in common as husband and wife and respected each other opinion.

One day, Mrs Okpoi came back to the house with good news . Case what? She was given a promotion letter to be the bank manager. This good news brought a big celebration to this lovely couple. After few weeks of Mrs Okpoi change her behavior by not minding her husband anymore.

All what she does is to wake up early morning, prepare meal and keep then move to work. When she returns back at night, she take her bath, eat, focus on her laptop system or went to bed claiming to be very stressed and tired. Anytime her husband approaches her for intimacy, she will abundon him and move to the guest room to sleep over.

One day, she make her intention of bringing a female maid to the house know to husband. In order for the maid to help her in cooking and keeping the house clean. Her husband insisted but she disobey her husband and go ahead in bringing the maid to the house. The maid name was Unwam. That same day the maid started working, well behaved with nice welcome greetings anytime Mr Okpoi returns from work.

One faithful morning, Mrs Okpoi wakes her husband and told him of her intention to take a leave in the work place in order to travel and visit her parents. The husband ask her what about me! She replied to her husband by saying that Unwam the maid will take care of him. The husband ask her how many days she will spend in her parents place, she then told her husband only two days then return to take a rest at home. The husband said to her okay, no problem

The following morning, Mrs Okpoi travel to visit her parents and that same day Mr Okpoi break his Marital vow by sleeping with the maid. This act continue the following day and the following morning making the two days, Mrs Okpoi returns back from her trip as she told her husband. Three weeks later, Unwam the maid fell sick and Mr Okpoi told his wife to take her to the hospital. Reaching the hospital, the doctor requested for her to conduct test before treatment.

The test was carry out and the outcome of one of the test conducted shows that the maid is pregnant🤰. Mrs Okpoi was surprised and inquiry to know who is responsible for the pregnancy.

Mrs Okpoi : Who is responsible for this pregnancy

The maid: Madam is Ogar

Mrs Okpoi: Which Ogar?

The maid: Your husband

Mrs Okpoi: What?

She drag the maid angrily to the car and drove back home. Reaching the house, they meant Ogar reading his new paper in the parlor. And she said to the husband

Mrs Okpoi: Honey we are back from the hospital

Mr Okpoi: You are welcome but what is her problem

Mrs Okpoi replied: she is pregnant

Mr Okpoi: That's her problem

Mrs Okpoi: But she said you are responsible for the pregnancy

Mr Okpoi: That's my problem

Mrs Okpoi: So what about me your wife

Mr Okpoi replied: that's your problem

Everyone now has problem because of Mrs Okpoi who refuses to balance the work and house duties equally. Who is to be blame now?.
