I welcome you all to my blog. I hope your day is going well. It's a pleasure to participate in this week homework on social studies. I will be attempting to answers the question giving by the social studies teacher. This week homework is based on the environment which is very interesting. What do you understand by Environment

Environment is defined as everything that is around us, which includes both living (biotic) and nonliving (abiotic) things. The environment that we live will either affects and influence our lifes positively or Negatively. This simple means, Environment also play an important part in human life. Environment is amazing nature's gift that helps in flourishing and nourishing life on Earth, making human live and enjoy to their expectations. Environment includes the soil, plant, water and the animals.

Physical environment is the surrounding where people or individuals live. The physical environment includes the natural and non-natural things. The natural things such as the air that we breath, the lakes, soil, the climate, oceans are all the physical things provided to human beings by nature. While the non-natural things are the things made by man such as the cars, the houses, Shoes, book, television are the non- natural things which it can seen and felt.

Physical environment give us access to interact to each other, learn, play, travel and work.

Mention some features of physical and
social environment

Some features of physical environment and social environment includes the following;

• Weather responses to the atmosphere condition which occur or changes day-to-day, month -to - month or even year -to - year at a particular place with respect to elements such as rainfall, precipitation, wind speed, humidity and temperature.

• Atmospher is the average weather condition of a place at a particular time. It can be sunny or windy.

• Vegetation occur or has to do with the coverage of plants on the Earth surface. This could be in form of grasses, trees, shrubs and legumes.

• Climate is the average weather condition of a place over a period of time.

• Society's beliefs

• Landform

• Practices and behaviors.
