Hey kids and lover of kids here in Steemkids Community. I believe y'all are doing perfectly okay. Today, I will be participating in @eliany's contest which she tagged; "What creative art have you learn in steemit? Share your skills let others learn from you".
Personally, since I joined steemit platform last year May, I've learnt different kinds of creativity. I've seen numerous skills on the platform which I do practice during my free time. My favorite part of creativity I have learned here is handcraft through recycling. Having this ability to turn unusable things to meaningful usable tool gives me this unexplainable joy.
Below are links to my recent art posts; 1
and 2 are both recycling posts.

Do you have any of this skill you can also teach us here? If yes showcase your talent we want to learn from you.Source

Yes, I do and I will like to show you all as well.
From my previous post on recycling, it has always been plastic. So today, I will share how I recycled my old waist beads to nice beaded necklace.

Beads in the light

The materials used are;

  • Beads ( different sizes)
  • Fishing line
  • Clasp

Steps

Before starting, make sure to arrange your beads to get a beautiful design of your choice.

Step 1

Tie the clasp to one end of the fishing line.

Step 2

Count the first set of beads (medium size) and use the other opened end of the line to pass through the beads hole.

Step 3

IMG_20220330_123020_547.jpg

Count the smaller beads and string.

Step 4

IMG_20220330_123849_304.jpg

Count the bigger size beads and string. Since the beads components were already arranged before starting.

Step 5

Continue the process by adding the small size beads before the medium size.

Step 6

Use the clasp to close this other end and your beaded necklace is ready to be worn.

The out come

This beaded necklace is one of the simplest recycling I've done so far. I hope the steps are simple enough to understand and follow. Thank you!
