Greetings Steem Kids and Parents!
Freedom is a privilege to be your real self and act according to your mindset. Freedom in other word; is power. when a person is given the power or go ahead, he / she will has the right to speak, act, move freely and do things freely without hindrance.

Freedom comes without restriction or limitation to do whatever you want. To growing kids, no matter how parents give them freedom, there is always a certain rules they must follow in order not to choose the wrong path or get into trouble.

Here are the things that can make me grant more freedom to kids;

As a kid, freedom is not just given but earned. Freedom is like trust, if your parents do not trust or believe so much in you, it will be hard to give out freedom.

Every parent understands that freedom is good for a child's development. So they grant it only at the right time when they know that the child is capable of withstanding some consequences that comes with freedom.

Freedom has its advantages and also disadvantages that's why parents hardly give it out but only after much consideration on the positive aspects of it.

Let's see the advantages and disadvantages of freedom both to kids and parents in general;

Advantages

Parents	kids
1. Freedom gives the kids independency which in turn lessen some burden from the parents	Kids learn how to manage their life without depending on others for smallest things
2. This also strengthen the parents' relationship with their children	Freedom gives kids all-round growth, they improve their skills and become more creative.
3. Freedom makes the kids to be mentally capable of handling things by themselves which in turn gives parents peace of mind	It also enable kids to be more self-confidence and aware of life struggles on time especially when it comes to decision making.

Disadvantages

Parents	kids
1. Disrespect from kids who are already too exposed to the outside world	Entitlement to parents because of awareness of some certain things
2. Lack of peace of mind	Risks and danger from outside
3. Kids will lack accountability in terms of being spoilt which will still bring shame to the parents	facing temptations which might likely lead to unsafe circumstances like; abuse.

A person can lose the freedom give at some point when he / she uses it wrongly. When freedom is given, it comes with rules especially to kids and when they fail to adhere to it, the parents takes back the freedom in order to save them from negativities.

Freedom is also necessary in life especially for self development and growth and most importantly; it is an avenue to live a fulfilled life and have the right to be who you want without hindrance from anyone.
