Greetings to all Dear friends. We are warmly welcome to Season 3 Week 2. Thank you so much to all of you for giving us opportunity through which we are taking part in this wonderful contest. A wonderful topic you have decided. I'm happy to share my views about technology. Let's move forward to share our views.
WRITE AN OVERVIEW OF HOW TECHNOLOGY HAS IMPACTED THE WORLD AS A WHOLE.
Technology has changed the whole world, it has revolutionized every field of life, education, health, industry, fashion. If we study back a century, we will know how difficult and simple life our ancestors lived. For example, if we compare the means of communication, we will know how difficult it was for people to communicate from one city to another. And they used to travel on horses and camels to send letters from one city to another. Now we can communicate with a person sitting thousands of miles away in seconds. Similarly, if seen in the health sector, the use of technology is very high, be it the preparation of medicine or the preparation of equipment used for operations and the diagnosis of diseases has also become easier with the help of modern machines. Similarly, due to the use of technology in every field of life, things have become very easy and impossible tasks will also become easy.
SHARE WITH US SOME OF TGE POSITIVITY AND NEGATIVITY OF TECHNOLOGY IN KIDS' LIVES.
As I have already explained how technology has made this world a global village. And such as children, adults, men and women have had positive and negative effects on every member of the society. Similarly, there has been a lot of change in the life of children. Because of the technology, first of all I will mention the positive side.
Increase Knowledge
Children can increase their knowledge by using mobile phones and other digital devices.Increase Creativity
Internet and computers have boosted creativity in children.Smartness
The use of social media has also increased the smartness of children.Safety
Addiction to games and mobile phones keeps children confined to their homes and thus eliminates the risk of them being lost or kidnapped.Distance vs Affection
Because of technology we are in touch with others. We have so many person in our life in which we never meet but we know them through technology.
Through Steemit we know many peoples it all about of technology. So here we can imagine how much technolgy is important for us.
Negativity
There are so many cons of technolgy. We can take an example of coin with two sides. Similarly , technology has positivity and negativity as well.
- Heath Damage
Excessive use of mobiles and computers is causing health problems in children. Eye and muscle diseases are increasing in children. - Wastage of time
Social media habit is a habit that wastes a lot of time. Chatting on facebook and whatsapp for hours is just a waste of time. - Weak relationships
Not giving time to your family members, friends and relatives, not gossiping is creating weakness in relationships. - Social media has made people anti-social
- Obesity
- Learning Barriers
- Psychological issues
HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY IN KIDS' LIFE? HIGHLY POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE? Explain.
Impact of Technology is highly influenced in the life of kids. Technology gives us information. Technology is highly positive impact in the lives of kid. Technology is not bad thing. It extremely depends on the use of technology. So that's why we can say that technology is highly positive impact on the lives of kids. Because kids don't know the misuse of technology. That's what I said that.
Can you have control over the exposure of kids to certain technological products? How?"
It's responsibility of parents. My brothers are addicted to playing games especially PUBG. So I controls that by placing in door games with my brothers. So in a way we can control over the exposure. My uncle's chil were also addicted to massive use of Youtube videos. So I controlled over by different activities like gossips , ludo etc.
Similarly , it's my message towards other especially kids of @steemkids that everything has pros and cons. It is possible that one thing is beneficial on the other time it may harmful. Because excessive use of everything is bad. So use Technology for the learning purposes and which one necessary fo you. When your parents and teachers don't allow it means it is not beneficial for you. So then avoid that. One thing more , you should also give time to your parents and family . Not too much involved in anything. It's all about my side. Thank you so much to all of you. That's all about my side. Technology can be exposed to children under the control of parents. As you said it can be observed carefully.
It's the responsibility of parents that they should teach us their children. If they teach then there will be no misuse. Children are innocent they don't know the disaster but parents are mature enough to understand. That's why I said.
