Introduction

We are really excited with the efficient management and proper sense of direction that Steemit has gotten in recent times. It is really a thing of joy to see. We hope that the many positive things happening now are just a tip of them iceberg. The 100 days of Steem and the shopping game has largely been successful. These activities give all content creators the opportunity to make new friends, learn about people, places and things. More important, we all get rewarded for doing what we love. However, there is one huge opportunity for all to show how much we believe in Steem and how far we want this project to go. That opportunity will come on the 1St of August 2020. It is called Steem Power Up Day for Steem #SPUD4STEEM.

What is #SPUD4STEEM

#SPUD4STEEM happens on the first of every month. It is a rare opportunity we all have to demonstrate our confidence in the Steem project by powering up our Steem. For the sake of newbies, Powering up steem is a way to convert your steem to Steem power. Each persons Steem Power gives them influence on the platform. Basically, the more Steem Power an account has, the more value it adds through curation. A larger Steem power enables you to not only to vote with value, but also to earn larger rewards from the voting.

So come this 1st of August 2020, everybody is invited to power up and show that they really have confidence in the future of Steem by participating in #SPUD4STEEM.

Through this post, we want to publicly announce that our community will officially participate in the #SPUD4STEEM which will happen on August 1. We also encourage you our dear reader to power up your steem on that day. You will have a big opportunity to win exciting prices if you participate and perform well.
