The Diary Game : 19/09/2020 Travel to the temple

Hi friends

It’s my 3rd day in uncle’s place. We all woke up early in 5a.m. to getting ready to return back home. My aunt prepared our breakfast very early since she to start her private tuition class for G.C.E. O/L exam in Sri Lanka. We had our breakfast around 8a.m. and left uncle’s place.

We went o “Gangarama Temple” Colombo. My uncle also came with us since he is really familiar with roads. There we bought Blue water Lilies to worship Lord Buddha. That temple is really famous in Colombo and we used to go there very time when we went uncle’s place.

There were lot of people who came from whole over the island in morning for worships. It is also a famous place among foreigners too. There is a beautiful procession which held every year with lot of dancers and elephants. Here is a one of the elephant owned by the temple.

We spent more than 3 hours over there.

After worship Temple my sister and her husband separate from us to go to Book Faire At BMICH Colombo. It’s the biggest book sale which held in Colombo. My mom and I left there with my uncle to take the Expressway bus station to comeback home. My mom had to go to her works in evening and I had my online lecture. My uncle took us to the bus station and left back to his home.

My mom and I travelled 1 hours on expressway bus and reached back to Galle. It was raining out there when we reached Galle. So we took Three-wheeler (popular as “TUK TUK”) to come back home. It cost around Rs.200 (around 1$) . As soon as we reached back home we had our lunch. It was prepared my dad. Then my mom got ready and left to work.

Then I had to attend for my online lecture and it finished few minutes ago.

So it’s the end of another busy day of my life.
