Steeming Community Contest | Throwback Time with @lealtafaith : Precious Travel Memories of Mine Year 2019

It was way back 2019 when we thought about visiting the famous "Sirao Garden" and "Temple of Leah." We planned it 2018 honestly but due to some hectic schedules before when we were both working in which we had incompatible rest days we couldn't made it. That's why I better prefer the unplanned rather than the planned one.

February 21, 2019 was the date of one of our very precious travel with lots of memories. We started our journey around 6 a.m. but because of my very good instinct about direction and a couple of times that we did stop over we made it around 9 a.m. that cost us over 3 hours of travel. It was an epic because we lost on the way there eventhough we used Google Maps for the direction, how awesome me and my girlfriend were (just kidding).

And now let me show and welcome you all to "Sirao Garden" also known as "Little Amsterdam of Cebu" where it has varities of beautiful flowers around. Also it was a hot sunny day but the cool air was present so no hindrance for us to enjoy, walk around and take some photos. It's refreshing to think back those days when we came here where you would be relax by the fresh air around together with the breathe-taking view of colorful and beautiful flowers around. Before I forgot the entrance fee which is 100.00 (Philippine peso) was really worth the fun, experience and just taking your time in walking and seeing around. Surrounding myself with plants and flowers felt like all the problems was long forgotten and the vibes that would be present was the positive one. It felt surreal since I am with my precious girlfriend that honestly gave me some enlightenment to change my bad ways before and with her I did explore and experienced new things.

Our next destination was the known "Temple of Leah" which was built by Teodorico S. Adarna Jr. as a "Symbol of Undying Love" to his wife Leah Albino Adarna. It's temple design was inspired from a world heritage site, the Parthenon of Greece. We came here to experienced and take a look at the temple but came home being inspired by having knowledge and knowing the history of it which was in my opinion is very lovely and a perfect romantic place to be with our love ones. You can feel the love vibes inside and out of the temple.

This place was not that far from previous one that's why we decided to also came here. That time the temple has lots of foreign and local tourists so it was a bit crowded but still we managed to have some selfies. After knowing the histories about the temple, taking selfies and walking around we decided to start our journey on the way home.

Remembering those epic yet worth the travel bring back precious memories. A place to remember that is full of love and inspiration. The things that remains that we called memories will forever be printed in our hearts and cherished the most. I would like to end my journey here and hopefully you all had a great time.
