Hello friends of Steeming Community. See you again @hidayat96. How are you all? I hope you are well, my friends. On this occasion I will take part in a contest held by @steemingcuration and I will share knowledge with you all about "How to deal with difficult times."

Of course, difficult times have come to everyone. It could be that these difficulties are a warning from God, a test of maturity, or a form of God's love for us. This condition can be triggered by various things such as: family demands, work pressure, relationships with people around, economic conditions, harsh criticism and so on. It is environmental factors that greatly affect our psyche.

In difficult conditions, we usually feel sad, depressed and even want to give up. We will assume that we do not deserve to be happy. The impact will affect physical and mental health. However, as humans, we must be smart in responding to all these difficult conditions properly and correctly. Don't suppress your feelings, but don't fall into bad situations and have your own troubles constantly.

In the following I will discuss some of the ways that we can deal with difficult times in life

1. Always be grateful and positive thinking about something by writing it down.

In any condition, we should always be grateful to Allah. Whatever happens, whatever we get and whatever we feel. Rest assured that all of this is a lesson, then write it down so that we always remember the blessings that God has given us.

2. Always draw closer to God and believe in His best way

Believe that God always has the most beautiful plans for His servants because He is Most Merciful. Draw close to Him for strength and patience. God will not give a test beyond our capabilities.

3. A lot of worship (Dhikr, Prayer, Alms, Fasting and reading the Qur'an)

Difficult times are an opportunity to increase our Faith and draw closer to God. With a lot of us worship, then our hearts will feel calm. In addition, because we are busy with worship, we will not think of thinking negatively about something.

4. Calm down, take a break from your activities.

For all my friends. If difficulties come, then stop for a moment from your activities. It could be that the routine even adds to the burden of the mind. Therefore, by getting out of daily activities we will feel calmer and have time to build positive thoughts.

5. Express your emotions by writing them down, telling them to someone you can trust and praying to Allah.

It's not good to harbor emotions because one day it can become a ticking time bomb and we can do extreme things. For that, when in difficult conditions we can express these emotions by writing in a notebook. However, I was encouraged to talk to people who are trusted and continue to pray for help from God.

6. Communicate with family and friends about the condition being faced.

Don't hesitate to tell the truth about your condition to your family and closest friends. Because in addition to emotional outbursts, we can also get support and affection from them. So that we no longer feel alone.

7. Seeing things from different points of view.

Looking at things from different points of view will help us to take lessons from the difficult times we are facing. We also find it easier to be grateful and to be strong in the face of adversity. Don't feel sorry for yourself because you are worth more than anything.

8. Not using social media for a while.

My reason is because social media can sometimes make us stressed and even depressed. Starting from envy of the achievements or lives of others to scathing comments. Therefore, I suggest staying away from the use of social media that can affect your mentality.

9. Hang out with good people and stay away from bad neighborhoods.

The environment is a major factor in the depressed feelings we feel, get out of it all. Meet good people, hang out with them in a good environment. Because in addition to making our hearts calmer, in that environment we will also help each other when in trouble.
