Hello, everyone in my previous post I try to talk about the universe a little. This is the second part of that article.
Cosmic Microwave Background
The cosmic microwave background, or CMB, is a useful tool for learning about space mysteries. The CMB is the universe's earliest light. It's around 13.8 billion light-years away from us. The CMB is predicted to have formed 380,000 years after the Big Bang.
The cosmic microwave background, or CMB, was discovered by American radio astronomers Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson in 1964.
The CMB is the relic radiation of the original universe. However, the CMB was created in the early days of the universe, but the size of the universe is many times larger than the CMB. This is because the universe has been expanding for billions and billions of years, and that is much faster than light.
How long is one light-year?
The distance a light (or photon) travels in a year is called a "light year." In terms of kilometers, it is about 9 trillion kilometers.
The Big Bang
The length of the observable universe is at least 93 billion light-years. However, the universe has not always been so large.
Scientists believe that the universe began with a huge explosion. That was about 14 billion years ago. From the moment after that explosion, the universe has been expanding at a rapid pace. The present universe or space is much, much larger than it was when the universe was new in age.
