Artificial Intelligence (AI) for virtual Chatbots

in Zero to Infinity3 years ago

At the annual Google I/O developer conference, the software behemoth unveiled a slew of new products. For several, it was about the advancement of artificial intelligence, which could be used to chat, boost the search engine, and detect diseases, among other things.

Since there was no Google I/O last year due to the pandemic, the news was all the more relevant this year. Perhaps the most talked-about project was Project Starline.

The system combines machine learning and computer vision to create "a kind of magic window," as the company describes it. Without using a virtual reality headset, you can see another person in 3D, speak to them, make gestures, and so on through the glass. The sensation is as if the person is sitting right in front of you, according to Google.

Starline is currently only accessible in a few Google offices, where it includes specialised hardware and software. It may also be classified as a design evaluation. However, the aim is to make technology more affordable and available.

Chat-ai was demonstrated by conversations with paper aeroplanes

Google I/O, the company's annual developer conference, featured a slew of technology announcements. Many were about the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), which was used to chat, boost the search engine, and recognise diseases, among other things.

Aside from that, there was a lot of talk about artificial intelligence. The chat-ai Lamda, or Language Model for Dialogue Applications, was demonstrated, among other items. The pre-recorded chat interaction, which was illustrated by a conversation with a paper aeroplane, demonstrates a much more complex AI than that used in many of today's chatbots.

Lamda can "speak openly about an almost endless number of subjects," according to Google. However, the technology is not yet complete, and Google anticipates that a launch will take some time.

Another AI to develop Google's most well-known feature, its search engine. It should be able to answer even more complicated questions than before thanks to the latest technology known as Mum (Multitask Unified Model). The query "I've climbed Mt. Adams and want to climb Mt. Fuji next fall, how do I prepare?" was brought up on I / O.

Today, finding an answer to such a complicated question would necessitate a number of searches, but the intention is for it to be possible to do so with only one. Mum is fluent in 75 languages, although it is unclear if Swedish is one of them.
