A logic gate is an electronic circuit that has one or more inputs and provides only one output considering the logic state of the inputs. Logic gates can be classified into two types.
- Basic Gate.
- Combined Gate.
Today, we will discuss basic gates only. Basic gates can be classified into three types.
- AND Gate: There are two or more input lines and only one output line in and gates. In and gate, if the value of any one input is 0, the output is 0, otherwise, the output becomes 1.

- OR Gate: OR gates have two or more inputs and only one output. In or gate, if the value of any one input is 1, the output is 1, otherwise, the output is 0.

- NOT Gate: NOT gate has a single input line and a single output line. The output is the opposite of the input. That means if the input is 1, the output is 0, or if the input is 0, the output is 1.
