Afsu and Shamsu, the two older brothers in the film, work as Kalu by profession. I quit my job because of my age. But Shamsu continued to do the business of grinding to keep the tradition of his ancestors. Shamsu helped his son Bazlu to do the business of grinding.Afsur's son Quddus went to Dhaka to earn more money. Quddus works in Dhaka and no one at home likes it. Shamsu told his brother Afsu that it is better to work as a grinder at home without going to Dhaka. Afsu asks Shamsu to explain that Quddus should come home.Rakeya asks Quddus to marry her. As a result, he will not go to Quddus and Dhaka, he will work at home. When Afsu went to pray, his brother Shamsu asked him to go to the mosque to pray, but he did not answer.

After Afsu went to the mosque, Bazlu brought sacks and money from the moneylender. Shamsu Bazlu says how much money Mahajan has given today. In reply, Bazlu said 380 rupees because earlier Shamsu had borrowed 100 rupees from a moneylender. So he kept the money. Samsu tells his son to tie the bull in the field, take a bath and come home to eat.When Bazlu went to graze cows in the field, he met an old woman of the area. Bazlu asks the old woman where to go. The old woman says her invitation to Morzina's house today.

Today, Quddus will come home from Dhaka, so he is sitting in a tea shop on the bank of Afsu river in the hope of Quddus. He replied, "Today the boy will come. I will go home with the boy and eat rice." Then at the wharf his son Quddus actually moved to Afsu's house with his son. Everyone comes home and eats rice together. Quddus goes back to Dhaka from one night at home and he tells the people of the house that he will come back in a week.

Bazlu falls in love with Moyna and he meets Moyna once in two weeks. After meeting Moyna, Moyna asked Bazlu's family to talk about marriage. Bazlu says he will tell his family about the marriage very soon. Shamsu Mahajan got very sick when he went to pull the sack from the house. Quddus wants to move from Dhaka to his village home. But during the strike in Dhaka city, Quddus was killed by a bomb. Quddus became a corpse back home.The death of Quddus casts a shadow of mourning over the house. Quddus's father Afsu Quddus went crazy over his death. Afsu prays every day and sits on the ferry wharf thinking that his son Quddus will come back home again. So Bazlu came home and told his parents to marry Moyna and through the backyard meeting, Bazlu's marriage to Moyna was finalized. Then Bazlu and Moyna got married.

Bazlu had borrowed money from Mr. Bepari for his marriage. Bazlur was supposed to pay this money within a month. But Bazlu can't pay in a month. That is why Mr. Bepari came home and took Bazlur's father's ox and said that if he did not pay by tomorrow, I would sell the ox in the market. But Bepari takes the bull without hearing anything. Shamsu is very angry with his son Bazlu for taking the bull to Bepari and tells him to bring the bull by tomorrow. Says to bring. The next morning Bazlu brings his bull money from the matter. Everyone used to call this bull "Dhala Chand". Everyone is very happy to get the bull.

One night Shamsur Kalu's bull was stolen. Everyone broke down in tears over the theft of the bull and became very worried about how the family would fare. Shamsu told Bazlu to go to his uncle's house to ask for some help. Bazlu left for his uncle's house the next morning. After Bazlu left, Sahib came to the house. He came and said that the mustard was brought from him but he was not given oil. Why? Bazlu says the day after I brought the mustard to you, my cow was stolen so I couldn't make oil. The dealer said if my oil is not delivered by tomorrow then my mustard is sent to Zeno store. After hearing this, Shant became very worried.

Finding no way out, Shamsu dragged Ghani with his daughter-in-law. Bazlu returns home in the afternoon. When he came home, he told his parents that he had not met his uncle. Mama has gone abroad for personal work. Bazlu then goes to his own house to meet his wife. He went to his house and saw that his wife was very ill. Bazlu sees the scars on Moyna's neck and realizes that his parents have pulled Ghani with Moyna. Then Bazlu got angry and asked his parents how could you do this? Ghani Tanala with your daughter-in-law. Then Bazlu gets angry with your father and leaves the house.

In the morning, Matabbar of the village killed Bazlu and brought him to Shamsur's house. According to the village elders, Bazlu was caught stealing cows. Bazlu says I don't want to steal cows on purpose. Then Shamsu says I killed Bazlu yesterday so Bazlu may have gone to steal the cow in anger. Then the village matabbars forgave Bazul.

Then when the village elders leave the house, Bazlu wants to convince his family that I did not steal but no one in his family understands. When no one understood, Bazlu started pulling Ghani on his shoulder. Suddenly Bazlu goes after pulling the grinder. Seeing this, his wife ran to the autopsy and the autopsy also started pulling the grinder with Bazlu. And the movie is over.
