Sonmarg

Sonmarg, which literally translates as "Golden Meadow," is a small valley situated a few kilometers away from the Zoji La pass in Tibet. This location is also a prominent route that many people, both locals and tourists, use in order to go to Ladakh from other places (which is a popular region here). This location is known for its extensive and undulating hiking paths that pass past several tourist attractions, including the Gangabal and Vishansar lakes. This place is also known for its abundance of lovely colorful flowers.

There are also a number of lakes that intersect here, as well as other streams that join the Sind River at this point. Lake Vishansar, on the other hand, is the most well-known of all the lakes you'll view during your visit to this region. Once you reach the top of the meadow, which is located at an elevation of 13280 feet above sea level, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views. Visit throughout the months of June through October if you want to get the most out of this place's natural beauty, or December through January if you want to see snow.

Gulmarg is known as the "Meadow of Flowers," and boy does it live up to its moniker. This is a lovely hill station with vivid flowers that stand out brilliantly against the background of snow-capped mountain peaks in the distance. It is not only famous among people who like having an incredible picnic while being surrounded by hundreds of flowers and natural beauty, but it also boasts the longest cable car system in Asia, which makes it a great spot to visit if you prefer cable cars. She will also be able to enjoy other activities such as skiing and taking long walks through the meadows, to mention a few of them.

The mountainous region of Pahalgam, which is well-known for its lush foliage and fertile soil (conifer woods cover a considerable portion of the territory), provides visitors the opportunity to have a really memorable holiday. It is possible to participate in a variety of enjoyable activities when visiting this location, including river rafting, canoeing, hiking, and horseback riding. Furthermore, if you want to unwind and forget about the stresses of everyday life back home, the natural scenery and lovely meadows of Pahalgam provide the ideal atmosphere for you to feel emancipated from your concerns. Some of the other fantastic spots you may wish to visit in this area are the Betab and Aru valleys, as well as the Tullian and Baisarn lakes.

Srinagar

In addition to its chameleonic terrain, Srinagar is famed for its peaceful lakes and beautiful gardens, which are all located inside the city. Because of the natural beauty of the area, it is recommended that you come during the summer months. If you want to be amazed by the stunning snow-covered splendor of the Hari Parbat peak, take a shikhara ride on the Nagin or Dal Lake. Of course, the activities and sights you may view and participate in here are far from limited. Aside from the Old City landmarks (which include the Rozabal Shrine, Khanqah, and Dastgir Sahib, to mention a few), the Shankaracharya Hill and the Mughal Gardens are two more destinations you should visit.

It doesn't matter whether you're visiting Kashmir for the first time or if you've been here a few times before science Articles; its breathtaking scenery, paired with its tranquil lakes and diverse range of activities, will compel you to return time and time again.

Have you visited these places yourself? I assume these are all in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

Please add your own images while making recommendations or reviewing something so that people know you are claiming something based on your personal experience not on Internet reviews.

Anyways, you still need to change the pictures as these are not free for commercial use.
