A calvary greeting I bring to you all. This week, I am delighted to be a part of the ongoing contest organised by the steemitblog. The engagement challenge is no doubt a wonderful program that will go a long way in uniting steemians all over the world as we get to read and also comment on people's articles as well.

As we all have seen from the recent project which is the engagement challenge and the crypto academy project which lasted from season number one to the last season which is season number six. A lot was seen in the steemit platform ranging from quality content to interaction among steemians etc. With all these projects, the platform grows in strength and new members both bloggers and investors keep coming in on daily basis.

As we all know that the major aim of the steemit platform is to produce quality articles and also ensure that the authors of these articles are handsomely rewarded. This is done to improve the proof of brian concept which is the main reason for the platform. The projects that are been organised on the platform are to encourage steemians to showcase their talent and the inbuilt God gift in them.

As a way to improve the functionality of the platform, I am proposing that a Live button should be added to the platform as in the case of other social media platforms like Facebook. On Facebook, someone can make a live review of exactly what is happening in a particular place and time.

I am aware that it is a blogging platform and we add videos to some of our content in other for the readers or curators to have a better view of the messages we are passing. Adding the live button will go a long way to help people express selves even when they are in any situation around the world.

The What3word location goes a long way in telling us the exact point of any happening or event and for that reason, if the live video button is added, then clearer information can be gotten from the user in a very specified manner. Take for instance if you as a steemian are into any form of a problem and then you have your phone with you, you can as well live stream the exact event and the point where the entire scenario is happening.

I got this idea of a live streaming button from Facebook as a social media platform. Steemit is also a social media platform and with the addition of such features, a lot of users who are not content writers can use the live stream button to showcase their talent as well. You will see more people from the music industries, dancing, crafting etc will be coming into the platform because they don't need to put what they are saying into writing before it can be attended to.

We know that a lot of people learn faster when they watch people act. Sometimes, the mode of our writing may not pass the message to the understanding of the reader but once the person who is supposed to read sits and then watches us then they get a clearer picture of the said event.

The idea for this project was gotten from Facebook and I want to believe that with the live button on the platform, information will reach people quicker also whenever anything is happening instead of delaying time and writing an article you can present your problem using the live video button.
