A tribute to my Baba ❤️

12 Rabi’ II …. Another year has passed and there isn’t a single day I haven’t missed your presence and felt your warmth around me.

A father’s death is the most heart breaking and poignant loss in a man’s life. In losing you, I have lost my greatest blessing and comfort. I couldn’t get over your absence but the memories you left have been sustaining me.

Your loving words and praises still haunt me. When I iron the clothes, your words whisper in my ears “Is say acha tu poray Pakistan may koi nahi kar sakta”, I remember whenever I cooked something and brought to you to taste you always asked “aap ny khaya k nahi” and there’s a long list to go.

That night was not less than nightmare for me when we took you hospital … My heart sank all the way but the heartbreaking moments were when I felt the grip of your hand being lose on mine and you left us for your final abode.

You were the one who taught me the value of patience, the art of detachment and the need for selfless service in today’s world.

خاک میں ڈھونڈتے ہیں سونا لوگ
ہم نےسونا سپرد خاک کیا

May Allah (SWT) bless you, shed His (SWT) noor on your grave, have mercy on you, make your grave a portion of Jannah’s garden, grant you highest abode in Jannah tu Firdous and guide us on the path to be a source of Sadqa e Jariya for you (Ameen)
