Hello guys! Hope you all are doing well. Today I had a really good day. We had arranged a Seerat un Nabi conference for the ladies of our community today and Alhamdulillah everything went really well. I've decided to write this post to give to an overview of the entire event and how we prepared for it. I hope you enjoy this post. :)

The event was planned as follows:

• Recitation of the Holy Quran with English translation
• Recitation of Hamd
• Recitation of Naat
• Lecture on the Benefits and Blessings of Durood Shareef
• Dua
• Lunch

The participants had started their practice few days prior to the event. They all had worked really hard for it; Alhamdulillah, their hard work paid off and everyone performed really well.

For the decor of the entrance, anteroom and dining hall, around 6 ladies were assigned with different tasks.

I was given the task of writing Sal Lal Lahu Alaihi Wasallam in Arabic with glitter on glass. This was meant to be placed in the anteroom.
The first thing I did was take out a large printout of the calligraphy.

Next, I placed the print out under the mirror and started my work.

I used UHU liquid glue and loose golden glitter for the artwork. The procedure was pretty simple, I traced over the letters with the glue and sprinkled glitter over it. Once the glue was dry, I brushed off the excess glitter.

Almost done..

Once my work was complete, I got the mirror cleaned properly.

It took me more than 2 hours to complete this work and it made my back hurt really bad but the end result looked amazing so the pain was totally worth it. Here's what it finally looked like:

The anteroom looked lovely. This is where the actual event took place. The stage was step up for the participants and the guest speaker to deliver the lecture.

After the event was over, everyone proceeded to the dining hall for lunch. In the end, the ladies were handed over the souvenirs.

The sweet box contained yummy methai.

And the gift box contaied Saunf, Ittar and Tabeeh.

So this was all about it. The entire team worked really hard to pull this event off and needless to say it was a great success. We were greatly appreciated by our senior ladies for putting in great effort and this really made us all very happy.
