Your positions are quite honest, I agree with the second, we can be much happier because the responsibilities decrease and you have more opportunities that do not present themselves if you are married to someone. While the statement about money can be seen from that point of view, I think it's important to take love into account because neither extreme is viable. Unless you have a very radical stance, everything should be oriented to middle ground. Not only do you live on love, but with love and money, it can be better.
