Greetings to all how are you doing ...... Hope you all doing well ... Really Happy to participate in cultural Photography because am punjabi and i really love to describe my punjab...
Punjab has one of the older and richest culture of the world ... Punjab people are warm hearted and fun loving ... Punjabis also believe in cast system but as now people are getting educated..
The traditional dress for punjab is punjabi kurta and tehmat ,which is being replaced by the kurta pajma in the modern day punjab..
Punjabi Women were a punjabi suit that features three items Qameez , Shalwar ,dupatta Paranda is the traditional female attire.
In most of the village of punjab men were pagri (turban) dhonti/ pacha khusaa kurta ..This picture is taken from the school function.
The main punjabi folk dance for female is giddah and men for or women's for or both doing bhagra..
Saag roti, chicken and lasso are the staples food of any punjabi household ...The main traditional punjab food are saarso ka saag....This is the most famous dish in punjab...
