Assalamualaikum Everyone,
Hopefully you all are doing well and enjoying great health by the grace of Allah Almighty.I am also good.i have written this post a few days ago, actually i wanted to take part in steemit engagement posts but something happened to my phone and i wasn't able to post this....so now after that my phone is repaired,now i am posting it.so its a request please ignore the delay.
Eid-ul-Fitr:
Muslims all over the world celebrate this occasion with great enthusiasm.it is celebrated after the holy month of Ramadan.after fasting for about 30 days Muslims enjoy this day and celebrate. Muslims thank Allah for the strength given by him during this month of Ramadan.it is the day of joy for everyone.
Moon Night(Chaand Raat):
On this night muslims do their remaining work or preparation for eid.this is the night before eid.on this night people went to the markets to buy remaining things for them.some of them went out for dinner to enjoy themselves.girls buy bangles, jewelry and other accessories.females apply Henna on their hands on this night.
I went to the market to buy remaining things for the gifts to give.
i also applied henna on my hands.i also applied henna on my daughter's hand.she is about 6months old.and after applying henna her hands were looking so cute 🥰. applying henna on her hand was the most difficult task.she was sleeping and after applying i held her hand so that it didn't get destroyed.i wanted to take the picture of her hands but wasn't able to because I forgot to take it.
On that night we received a eid gift from office.
How do we celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr?
The preparation of Eid celebration begins a few days before eid.people buy new clothes, accessories,shoes.some of them decor their houses.kids are the most excited one for this festival.On this occasion people give money to the needy and poor.after that they go to the mosque for eid prayer.after eid prayer people visit their family and friends.they exchange gifts, treat each other with sweets and greet each other by saying "Eid Mubarak".many of the people went for dinner to each others house.this celebration continue for three Muslims of different countries celebrate it according to their way.kids enjoyed this alot.
Now its time to tell you all about how i celebrated this occasion.i didn't sleep the chaand raat.because there was no sleep in my eyes at all.so i went to the kitchen early to prepare everything.our today's menu was mutton karahi,fried rice with chicken almonds and cashew nut,russian salad,kababs and the main thing Sheer khorma.i wasn't able to click all the pics because i was in hurry.i had done half of my work before applying henna.now i did the remaining things.i finished preparing everything at about 6:00Am.The Timings of eid prayer in our near mosque was 7:30.ithen i got ready,and perform the eid prayer.
After prayer we all sat together to eat something.
After that i cleaned the dishes.then i sleep for sometime.then after getting up i got ready.we were invited for lunch at my aunt's (phupho) house.we all went there along with cake and some gifts.in the evening we came back.
so that was all about my first eid day.thia celebration continues for Three days.we all enjoyed alot.and i collected a lots of eidi😊.
