Assalam o Alaikum (Hello) (Hola) to everyone,
Hopefully, all of you will be fine and enjoying your time.
Welcome to another Diary game post, I hope you will not get bored at any point.
Corrections and Suggestions will be highly appreciated, if you have any kindly mention them in the comments section.
Where is Khanpur-Dam and what is so special about it?
Khanpur Dam is a dam located on the Haro River near Potowar Plateau, about 50 km from Islamabad, in Khanpur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It forms Khanpur Lake, a reservoir which supplies drinking water to Islamabad and Rawalpindi and irrigation water to many of the agricultural and industrial areas surrounding the cities. where you can also find fresh fish to eat.
Let's start with our Planning and Starting of the hike.
I planned this trip along with my class-fellows. We planned to meet at 6-am in front of Marghozar Zoo. We reached there almost in time and started our journey to our destination. We first started moving along the road and the views around the hills were very pleasant and beautiful.
After walking for almost 2 kilometers, we found a vehicle in which traveled for 4-5 kilometers to reach the starting point of our hike.
Then we reached a point where our actual hike starts. We were talking and enjoying our chit-chat as well as the beauty of the mountains. We hiked through bushes and trees and reached the peak of the mountain first mountain in 2 hours.
The journey was so tiring and we had to rest for some time so, we sat at a very beautiful spot and enjoyed our gathering full of laughter. We took some photographs there. After taking some rest for a while, we started again and moved forward. There we found a bunch of sheep, which looked very beautiful together in that number. Also, there were some children playing volleyball and we joined them straight away and played volleyball for almost 20 minutes in that hilly area which was very refreshing.
Then we had to go down the other side of the mountain. Our way was through a village. We reached there and found a natural stream of water and we filled our water bottles from there. Then moved forward, the way was very dangerous but we managed it anyway and after almost 5 km, we found another village where there were some houses near the road, so we went there and luckily, found another vehicle and we jumped in-there because our destination was almost 20 km away and we already had traveled around 15 km.
We reached downtown in almost 20 minutes but our destination was still far away so when we reached there all of us were so tired. We found a place to sit and took off our bag-packs to have some drinks and snacks for boosting our energy. We offered Zuhur there with the peaceful sights of mountains all around and water flowing in-between.
After refilling our energy to some extent, we started again to reach Khanpur-Dam. We took another vehicle and reached there in 15 minutes from the last point. That was very refreshing and thrilling when we first saw Khanpur-Dam from far enough, the happiness was not only because we saw that Dam for the first time but that was due to reaching our final destination.
We took some breath to relax first, then we ordered our lunch from a local restaurant alongside the Dam. Until our order was served we roomed around to explore the beauty alongside and we took a ride in the boat to reach the other side of the water.
On the other side, there was a Masjid, which was 300 years old as per the local people's sayings. We spend some time there and took some photographs of the historical Masjid. Then, we moved back in the boat to have our lunch. In lunch, we had fish, which were caught from the same Dam's water. They were fresh and tasty.
After lunch, we had a walk for 10-15 minutes. Some of my friends took a ride in the Jet Ski, which felt amazing. After that, we started moving back and took a Local taxi to drop us in Islamabad. When we reach Islamabad, it was 7 pm. It was already dark there. We said goodbye to each other and went back home.
This was our very long tiring but very Pleasant trip to Khanpur-Dam.
Thank you all for reading!
Goodbye & Takecare till my next post.
Smiles all the way!

But what would it be like to be with your friends? Friendships are everything in the world. Playing with them makes everyone feel great and with them
Indeed, I agree with every single word of yours. Friends are life, I can not think about life without my friends. I have done all my adventurous trips with them. I have so much memories with them and if they were not alongside, I couldn't be able to do all these trips. In my opinion, Friendship is the most purest relationship after family.
