Fruit ripening through certain chemicals has health hazards because it badly affects the nervous system of humans.
According to need farmer has to harvest crops either vegetables or fruits before getting them to ripen, and after that, he used chemical to mature them, as he moved to different long distances market for solving his crops. Mature fruit cannot be elated at long distances as it gets damaged due to weather severity and time elapse.
Fruit is an integral part of our diet, we need certain vitamins and minerals which we can get only by intake of fruits, especially vitamin c and Vitamin A if it gets deficit there are many health hazards such as weakened immune system. Research has proved the people who are likely to eat fruits have less chance of chronic diseases as compared to other people who are not taking fruit in their routine diet.
World health organization recommended that fruit serving in daily routine leads to a healthy life.
How fruit ripened?
Now, the important question is that how the fruit ripens? It is well understood; allowed fruits to ripen on their plants. As it has to pass different biochemical and physical events to ripe properly.
Ripening development procedures are natural cannot be reversed. Natural maturing can increase fruit taste, aroma, texture, decreased acid insides in fruit.
For farmers, it's not probable to delay the natural course of aging as it is time taking too. Research has revealed, ethylene is naturally formed in fruits hence it induced the maturement development in pods and is gaseous in nature. Ethylene can also induce regulation of different genetic factor therefore further involved in the ripening process. As it changed complex sugars to a simpler form of sugars and softens the texture of fruits, while this process can fasten and mimic by theatrically grow elements. the elements maximum cast-off for mock maturation is known as ethephon; another frequently treated compound is called calcium carbide it is intricate in the production of acetylene it is similar to ethylene in function.
Now the health hazards of artificial ripening through substances.
Volatile
Various reports exposed that calcium carbide is volatile in use, as it insolvent down the natural composition of vitamins. Furthermore, it only deviates the outer texture of fruit without changing the inside of the fruit.
Toxic chemicals
The calcium carbide is more often polluted with arsenic and phosphorus which are certain health hazards. Complications associated with use of arsenic and phosphorus
The most common symptoms caused by phosphorus and arsenic are as follow
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Generalized weakness
- Chest having burn
- Feeling thirsty
- Issue in a swallow of food
- Eyes have a burning sensation
- Eye damage
- Skin ulcers
- Ulcers of throat
- Soring of throat
- Coughing
- Injured mucosa muscle
If these substances are in use for a longer time period it can source of peptic cancer or ulcers.
Research has proved that calcium carbide can adversely affect the nervous system which in turn leads to the hypoxic condition.
The most common symptom includes
- Pain in head
- Sleep for most of the time
- Loss of memory
- Cerebral edema
- Weakness
- Generalized faintness of the body
- Variation in color of body
- Decrease in blood pressure
How we avoid artificial mature fruit?
It is quite easy to differentiate between natural and un natural ready fruit. The mock ripen fruit would be even texture color. While, in instance of banana, it is yellow in color, the stem is in green color. The fruit will be not tasty and short-term life span.
Moreover, the fruit is obtainable in the market without their season it's a clear indication of artificial ripening.
Washing and cleaning with care before usage will be helpful in minimizing its toxic effects.

Nowadays almost everything is done artificially. God knows people don't fear while playing with the health of others.
This was very helpful I seriously didn't know how to differentiate and many times after bringing the fruits they don't taste well. And then I regret it because I have just wasted my money.
Just eat seasonal fruit, dnt buy out of season fruit, and proper washing could eleminate this toxic effect to some extent, although its banned to use calcium carbide for fruit ripening but it still happened
And the same is the case with vegetables. We can find those orange carrots too that are also out of season.
