Eid Ul Fitr

Everyone whether Muslim or not knows what this event is.
Being a Muslim Eid means alot to us as it is one of our only Holy festivals.
There are two festivals one is Eid ul Fitr and other is Eid ul Azha.
For some reasons Eid ul fitr has some special spiritual connection with Muslim.
The reason is simple.
Eid ul Fitr is celebrated after the month of Ramadan which is the Holy Month for Muslim.
After fasting for the whole month it is a gift from Allah SWT for the Muslims so it contains another kind of importance.
People of every age are excited throughout the year for Eid and they should be because of how enthusiastically this festival is celebrated.

Eid ul Fitr is celebrated among the Muslims throughout the world in a similar way.
Although in some countries it is celebrated a day before or after as it depends on the moon sighting in that particular country.
No one can deny the fact that the day of Eid has another kind of feeling and everything feels so blessed and different on this day which creates a feeling of goosebumps in a person.

HOW IT IS CELEBRATED..

Like i said it is CELEBRATED in an almost similar way throughout the world.
Following are some points and things that are compulsory and are a part of Pakistani culture on Eid.

• Every Muslim festival is incomplete without the day starting by praising Allah SWT who blessed us with this beautiful day.
Muslims gather in a huge ground wearing new clothes and properly dressed up for Eid prayers.
We praise Allah and thank him for our better health throughout the month of Ramadan.
Eid prayers are compulsory and followed by Every Muslim in this world.

• The second most important thing is eating sweet.
It is the Sunnah of our Holy Prophet ( peace be upon him) to eat sweet dish on Eid so different sweet dishes are made in every home and are served to the visiting guests.

• The only disturbing thing about Eid is the feeling that some people who were present last year on this beautiful day are no more present this year.
This is the fact of life and no one knows when their last Eid is.
So on this day those who are not present are also remembered.

• The most interesting part of Eid is Eidi.
It is more common in children and i dont know whether this culture is in any other countries but it is extremely important part in Pakistani culture.
Children are given Eidi (cash) on Eid as a gift and everyone is excited to spend their Eidi as fast as they could.
I also remember being conscious about how much Eidi i got but this thing moves part as you grow up but still it is an interesting part.

• Eid ul Fitr is not for just one day it is celebrated for 3 days.
People visit their relatives and attend dawaats.
It is actually an excuse for everyone to sit together and have fun together.

HOW MY EID UL FITR IS CELEBRATED..

Being from a typical Pakistani family,my Eid ul Fitr is exactly same as mentioned above.
My preparations and plans for Eid are as follows:

• This year me and my brother decided to wear same kurta on the first day of Eid.
We have given order of black kurta which we will
receive in few days.

• As both of my sisters are married but before that they were supposed to make sweet dish for us but now we will help our mother in cooking.

• Every year we go for Eid prayers with our cousins so this year the plan is same.

• Like i said there are some people who are not present with us this year.
My grandmother is no more with us this Eid and this is our first Eid without her so it is going to be sad and we all gonna miss her alot and her presence in our home was a blessing which will not be this year.

• For us, this years Eid is going to be alot different because both of my sisters are married and my father is also out of city for work purposes but he will visit us.
So we will be waiting for sisters and father to come and from their our day will properly start.

• Every year my Mamoo organizes dawat for everyone so this year the plan is same to visit their on the second day of Eid.

The third day is supposed to be with friends.
I haven't planned anything yet but something will surely take place at 11th hour.

With passing days, Eid is getting closer to us.
We should celebrate this festival with joy and love.
We should forgive everyone on this beautiful day and promote love and kindness.
May this Eid brings alot of happiness to Everyone..♥️♥️♥️
