Friends, hope you all are happy and healthy. Friends, I feel that the Steemit family is gradually growing and I am happy that the traffic on Steemit is increasing. We are promoting Steemit all the way and new communities, new updates and new features are making our Steemit experience even better. I am completely supporting this and it is the moral responsibility of all of us to support every community.

Friends, today was Saturday and as always, Saturday is a half working day for me. Today, as usual among friends, I woke up early in the morning, brushed my teeth with hot water and Colgate and later took bath. You can wear casual clothes to the office on Saturdays but being at the Head of Infection Control and Admin level, I prefer to wear formal clothes only. Because it is important to respect our designation, only the person occupying that position can do it. Then I went on hospital duty and had tea and breakfast in the canteen.

After having tea and breakfast, I took clinical rounds in the hospital as usual. All the patients were seen and risk assessment of infection was done. At the same time, I had motivated those patients for good health. Supply of oxygen in healthcare facilities is very important for the patients and oxygen is supplied in every healthcare facility. The same oxygen supply sometimes proves to be a danger for us because the oxygen and electrical supply continues 24 hours in the operation theatre, ward and intensive care unit.

It is because of this electrical supply and oxygen that fire occurs and I have seen people becoming victims of fire in my life and in my past hospitals. That's why I had organized mock drills today and in this training along with me, everyone was taught how in an emergency situation we can escape from fire, save patients and secure our workplace.

After the mock drill, I sat with the fire consultant team and analyzed the entire mock drills. Wherever our mistake occurred, we saw that mistake as a window of opportunity and at the same time, wherever there was a deficiency in the process, we took corrective action by improving the process. So post the mock drill, we ensured the safety of our workplace for all patients and employees by organizing meetings and taking corrective actions.

Actually, when my duty was ending at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, I closed my laptop and was leaving with my bag. When I was coming down the stairs, a relative of a patient told me that his mother was unwell, so the doctors called and asked me, can you help me? I told him not to worry and to climb the stairs keeping his safety in mind. Still, the patient was adamant because he felt that I could help him and I also felt that his expectation was from me and perhaps it was a very emergency, that is why he was requesting me so much without even seeing his mother. I had to go to my in-laws' house 40 kilometers away and from there take my child to the Dargah. But being a healthcare worker, I am always compelled by humanity. I picked up my bag and went to the ward with the relative of that patient.

When I went to the ward, CPR was going on and the doctors had tried their best but she was not being revived even after giving 5 cycles of CPR. That patient folded his hands in front of me and asked for help. I administered CPR and advanced cardiovascular life support to the patient. I did not feel that anything could happen now but thank God that whoever I have given CPR to in my life has been revived. I had already accepted that nothing could be done now, but the face of that patient's son was appearing in front of me.

I prayed to Allah and said, O my Allah, I am just a toy and the life of this patient is in your hands. You alone give life and You alone give death and You are capable of everything. My God, please bring this patient back to life and I was giving CPR and at the same time giving adrenaline injections and suddenly the patient's heartbeat was seen in the monitor. I immediately administered injections to increase the blood pressure and increase heart rate and put the patient on a ventilator for support.

The patient thanked me profusely and wished me a long life. Then I advised the doctors for post cardiac arrest management and then left to come home. I came to my in-laws' house, 40 kilometers away, had dinner and took my child to the Dargah in the evening.

After spending some time at the Dargah, I left for home with my child. I saw that it was going to rain because the clouds were black and spread across the sky. Farmers have sown grains in the fields which are growing and at the same time the fields were also looking very beautiful. I wanted to stay here but due to rain I could not stay. Because I can get wet in the rain, but I cannot get my small 2 month old baby wet, that is why I came home.

When I went to bed at night, I asked myself what I learned today and what good work I did. My heart told me that I follow humanity and think good for everyone. Whenever someone asks me for help, I do not refuse and I help him and maybe this can be my weakness too. Secondly, I learned that we should never ignore anyone because if someone is asking us for help, then he has the expectation and belief from us that only we can help him. In the end my heart told me that we should thank Allah and mention Him in every situation. One should never have hopelessness from Allah and should ask Him for help because He is capable of everything. Whichever religion we belong to, there is a God in that religion, so we should keep that God ahead in every decision because we may be a doctor, a master or a double Ph.D, but He is the one who created us and created this world.

So friends, see you again tomorrow with a new day and some new activities. If you liked my post even 1%, then please spread this post and the small message of my conclusions to the people so that other people can also get inspired and boost their life.

I am very happy that I am reading the diary of a doctor.Becoming a doctor was my childhood dream. But it could not be fulfilled and when I saw your hard work and love for people, I was very happy. I felt like I was in your place because it is my dream to serve humanity and we don't necessarily have to serve humanity as Dr. Ban. We can serve people in every field now whether we are house wives or working women. It doesn't matter, it is my duty to serve whoever I come in contact with in my life. I am very happy to see your human spirit that you gave more importance to human health than your time and tried your best to save this patient's life even if your duty time was over for her.
