Steemit Engagement Challenge / S19/W2 - "Inspired by _ beauty."

Hi Steemians,
It is the second week of the engagement challenge and this week I wish to participate in the contest organized here in this noble community. This is my first time writing in this community though and thank God for the engagement challenge which has brought me here.

This week the topic is Inspired by beauty. I thought much about what inspired me the most during this period and I came to the conclusion that the only practical thing that is currently around me that inspires me the most is plants i.e. agricultural products.

It is the farming season at the moment and Nigerians are not left out in agriculture. Considering the economic hardships that have recently hit the country, everyone both the rich and the poor has gone into farming to at least have food for their families.

I was not much into agriculture before now but after seeing how expensive everything is getting I decided to also go into farming and then be able to produce a little thing for myself as well. Now agriculture and plants inspire me a whole lot because, through farming or agriculture, I believe that nothing is ever permanent.

As the seasons of farming are different so also our life struggle. As you know already, farming begins with a lot of things such as land preparation, planting, caring for the crops, and lastly harvesting.

For your crops to be productive enough you must ensure you pass through the process which I have listed above because since it is a process you don't have to jump a step as every step is a building block that leads to the other.

Let's take for instance you have a farm land which you wish to cultivate and then plant your maize 🌽 or any other crops of your choice. Now how do you go about it?

Firstly, you must clear the grasses on the farm and then burn them after they have dried up or leave them on the land to dry and decay thereby forming manure for the farm. The next step is to turn the soil for easy planting. When you are done with that, you can then go ahead to plant your crops.

It doesn't end there, you will have to watch the crops grow and as it grow you have the weed the grasses and possibly apply manure to the crops for proper growth. After that, you will always check the crops to see how far it is going and also apply insecticide if the need arises before you finally get to the harvesting stage of the crops.

Now why have I given us this scenario, the reason is not far-fetched. Everyone who wishes to grow in life must take things step by step and not in a hurry. This is why here in Steemit we have levels and reputation and it grows gradually and not at once.

So whatever you are doing in life, if you haven't gotten there, don't worry it doesn't mean you won't get there it is a matter of consistency and focus. You will get there if you remain focused and determined. Take an example from the plants that we grow yearly for food production.

The law of nature has taught us how growth works by the plant example I have shared above. So I believe this will inspire us to focus on our goals and never give up because we must pass through processes before we can achieve our desired result.
