It’s All About Family, Love & Loss - Abominable (2019) | 5% For SL- Charity
Yesterday we heard that our ongoing exams were postponed until 24th May due to the prevailing situation in the country. Only two subjects were remaining for us. Anyway, this is kind of a huge break for me. 😅 So today evening, I watched one of the most beautiful animated movies ever. It's Abominable. This is my second viewing of this movie.
You feel that something is hidden in the title itself, don't you! This belongs to the family genre written and directed by Jill Culton and released in the year 2019. This is a story about a lost Yeti who faces an adventurous journey while going home with Yi. This is a beautiful creation that we can see once in a while. 😍
At very first, do you know who Yeti is? Yeti is a creature who lives on Mount Everest. A huge furry ape. People believe that Yetis are no more and lives in only fairy tales and myths.
Well, now let's take a look at the storyline. Yi is a teenage girl who is distant from her family. She always misses her dad so she plays the violin so as not to feel sad. One day, a Yeti was on her rooftop. He was chased by a group of people and hides on the rooftop. He needs to go home but there's no way for that. I'd say that's the best time Yi meets him and she calls him Everest. From there, the adventurous journey to Yeti's home begins. So, I'm not going to say anything further but I'd love to invite you to see this lovely and lively creation.
We can see there're many beautiful shots in here. I quite enjoyed the blueberry scene. And I'm amazed by Yi's voice. The stars of the voices did a great job. I really like the way how they create this magical journey by using teenage characters and I was like 'oh, now this has a little romance'. But I was wrong. There was no such thing and can be enjoyed without any boredom. Some shots are breathtaking and visually treated. Absolutely beautiful! There're some violin pieces and they calm even our minds. The team created the Yeti so beautifully. In the middle of the movie, we realize that he is still a baby Yeti. He so cute and there's no doubt that you'll fall in love with him. 💕
Of course, the story is predictable but still, it has something to give us. It's hard to explain but you know, whatever happens, all we have is family to survive. 💖🌼
So, don't miss this enchanting feature. 💫
