A Letter To Younger Me

Dear Little Me, 😍

_{The first day in preschool}

How are you? I hope you are doing well. Were you surprised to see this photo? Yes, that's us. You are my past and I am your future. You are 5 years old now. Isn't that right? I am writing you this letter from 20 years passed by. Life is a wonderful thing. It was a great journey full of different memories. There will be beautiful memories as well as unpleasant things in it. 🤗

I don't remember much about you. But I have your photos. Mom and I love to look at them together and refresh our memories. 20 years is a long time. A lot has changed during that time. A lot of people are coming into your life. Therefore make sure to be with only those who value you. Just like a tree sheds its withered leaves and keeps only the fresh leaves that beautify it, remove the insignificant people who don’t give value to you. 🍂

You may sometimes feel like you can’t do anything and you’re not worth it. But never think that way. You need to learn to give value to yourself. You get used to comparing yourself to others. Don't even do that. Always remember that there are people behind you as well as in front of you. So, do not waste time comparing, but going straight to the goal. 🌻

Always spend time smiling. Be a humble character who treats everyone kindly. Get stronger every time you fall. You got this and I believe in you. Read this letter every time you feel lonely. I wish I could come back to your age again. But I can't do that. Remember once you grow older there is no turning back. Then you will have many responsibilities to fulfil and many challenges to face. Till then enjoy your life. All I can say is not to grow up fast. It's a trap. 😢

P.S. Today I looked at my childhood photos with my mom and she reminded me of some memories of that time. Oh, what a lovely time it was!
