This post is relevant to the updates of our charity project funds. Our fund for the charity project is really good. We hope we can go for a very good amount to support more people with the price rising of steem. We are really working on that project to give something back to people which we earn through Steemit. We started collecting funds for our charity event on 25th of February. So here we are in 4 rd week of our charity project.

We really want to collect the initial amount with beneficiary rewards as it really indicates our togetherness and commitment as a community. Even though the payout is large or small, many of our members have contributed to the fund so far.

Also, we must thank, some of the members representing other countries like Venezuela and Bangladesh who also contributed to our fund. And now, we are getting more than 10 beneficiaries daily coming into the @sl-charity account.

5% of the payout is recommended and members have the freedom to put it or not. We have collected 510.139 Steem with 90.221 SP after 4 weeks by 5% of beneficiaries. With the current price of steem, 500 steem is approximately more than 70000 Lkr.

The process will be like this till May and then we will start direct steem transfers and earning author rewards.
