This post is relevant to the updates of our charity project funds. We are really working on that project to give something back to people which we earn through Steemit. We started collecting funds for our charity event on 25th of February. So here we are in 3 rd week of our charity project.

We really want to collect the initial amount with beneficiary rewards as it really indicates our togetherness and commitment as a community. Even though the payout is large or small, many of our members have contributed to the fund so far.

Also, we must thank, some of the members representing other countries like Venezuela and Bangladesh also contributed to our fund.

Daily, an average of 10 beneficiary payout is coming into the @sl-charity account. We have around 30 members from Sri Lanka.

5% of the payout is recommended and members have the freedom to put it or not. We have collected 392.89 Steem with 65.15 SP after 3 weeks by 5% of beneficiaries.

The process will be like this till May and then we will start direct steem transfers and earning author rewards.
