Planet Positives| Replacing Polythene Bags with Cloth Tote Bags | My Tote Bag Paintings #03
This is my 3rd try into tote bag painting and this time I did it for my friend Rasi. I sewed the bag first according to required measurements and then drew the sketch on it using a pencil. Before that I made sure to iron the bag to have a plain surface.
Then I used black, red, white, and yellow fabric paints to color this. Used my normal paint brushes. After 24 hours of drying I ironed it again.
Specialty of these cloth bags is, we can use them again and again. They reduced polythene usage. If you can use a cloth bag for day to day shopping it will reduce polythene usage largely.
Ask your mother or wife about number of polythene bags they collect when go for shopping for daily needs like vegetables, fruits, and others. Taking one cloth tote bag to the market, grocery or fair will reduce unnecessary polythene usage.
See how eco-friendly it is. You can easily sew one for yours or your mom. Additionally, you can decorate it using paints for a better look.

Yeah we had a bag full of polythene bags in our boarding room. Sometimes I took them home too.
