Friends! They are the ones who make the life easier. When we feel that we cannot be standing anymore, they are the ones who remind us why we started, why we should not give up and those are the warm hands which are always there to make us lift up.

If you have such good friends, I must say, "Wow! What a blessing!" Yes, my friend, believe in me, you are the luckiest because you are blessed with the best. And now, let me say that I’m also one of those luckiest ones in this world, who have been gifted and blessed with a bunch of such true and beloved friends for the life.

Last time I shared about one of the happiest days of my life; my graduation, which was held a few days ago. And if you read my article, you may remember that my friends also own a higher portion of my gratitude towards the people who supported me in achieving it. And now, when I’m remembering the past few years I spent at my university, I feel that it wouldn’t have been that amazing if I didn’t had this bunch of my friends. So, here comes a story on the journey that we came so far.

Me and my friends, when we were in our third year at the university...

I can still remember that very first moment when I was invited by them to come to their boarding place and to join with them. It was the end of our first semester, we had been walking towards a lecture hall, and I was telling them about the difficulties that I had been facing in my boarding place. At that time, I had come to a phase that I was fed up with the whole university life because of being all alone in a boarding house that was located so far from the university. I must say, it was the moment that changed everything about my whole university life.

After about two weeks, I was standing outside of their boarding house with my father. Then these three came outside, took all my bags in to the boarding house, quickly started unpacking my bags, and prepared a bed for me. My father and I were just sitting there looking at them with smiles on our faces. And I still remember the way my father told them to look after me, and since then, they really did it. And of course, we all looked after ourselves. It was our home, and we all became like a real one family.

Since then, I started experiencing the real beauty of university life, and I felt how much I am blessed to have them with me. We had to face numerous challenges and difficulties together. But now, when I remember those memories, they immediately bring a little smile to my face and fill my heart with happiness. Those are such sweet memories.

One of the hardest things that we had to face was finding food. Usually we bought our breakfast and lunch from the university canteens, and, you all know the quality and the taste of them. Sooner, we all were fed up with having our dinner from the same place, and we were looking for another option. Unfortunately, our boarding was located in area filled with hardware shops and there were no any shops to buy a proper meal around there either.

However, we found an aunty who lived near our boarding, and she agreed to give homemade food for us. Those meals were really delicious in the beginning and totally sufficient to fill our hunger as well. But sooner, her food started becoming worse than university canteen food and portions became smaller and smaller day by day. So, we had come to the end of that option as well.

Finally, we came up with the best option ever. Yeah, we started cooking at our boarding. What cannot be done by four girls who are good at cooking? It was such a fun to prepare our meals by ourselves. We did amazing experiments as well, 😆and I should say all of them came out more delicious than we expected. Out of all the choices, it was the best decision that we took and after that, we never had to be bothered about our food anymore.

The days passed quickly with lectures, assignments, practicals, reports, and of course with frequent exams. We four were consisting with two chemistry experts, one mathematics expert, and one statistics expert among us. So, when it came to the exam seasons, our boarding became a center of lectures and classes for not only ourselves, but also for the others in our uni-gang. We were much dedicated to our studies, working so hard, passing the sleepless nights, and helping each other to get in touch with all the subjects. And now I’m so happy to remember how we all achieved the best grades for all the difficult courses as well.

Now, while I’m memorizing all these beautiful memories, I’m filled with mixed feelings of happiness, sadness, and pride. It makes me feel so happy to remember how we always managed to overcome all the challenges in the best way, and of course it also makes me sad since we will never have another chance to be together as those days again. But, looking ahead, I’m willing to see all the good things that our future is going to bring for us. And, I really want to wish all the success in the world for my beloved friends on all of their future adventures.

Finally, I’m telling you again, having a bunch of such true friends always makes your life a better one, and of course, it fills and decorates your life with plenty of unforgettable and beautiful memories. If you have them, treasure them. You will be forever grateful for everything that they will bring to your life.
