SL charity phase-2 | Helping a disable child to buy a wheelchair | 50% to SL charity

Hi everyone ,

You know that we were able to help many families with financial difficulties through our SSL charity project phase-1 as the first step. The second phase is currently in progress. So as another part of it, we decided to give a wheelchair to a disabled child who is in a low-income family.

Background:

This disabled child is still 22 years old. This child's father has died and only his mother is there to take care of everything. She is also quite old and she is unable to do a job because of this disabled child. Their only income is the amount received from Samurdhi provided by the government.

Budget

We hope to donate LKR 16,500 to buy him a wheelchair through our @sl-charity project .

This child also has difficulty walking as well as has spoken difficulties too. Because of this, all his work and everything is done by his mother. And also I got to know that this boy has many economically problems too. So our community decided to donate the money needed to buy a wheelchair for this child.
